CHP 42 "Where It All Began"

RE-CAP: Bey announces to everyone that she is pregnant, and she proposes to Jay. Things for them are going good, so far. Maybe turning over on a new leaf was a good idea after all.

(Chapter Mood Introduction)
Since the whole get together it's been a lot of good things that's been happening. My mom and Gloria were getting along well, Jay and I thought it would be nice while our family was in town that we should all spend time getting to know each other. The connection between everyone was all at a same level. The timing for everything was so right.

A few days have past now, we were still enjoying the company of Jay's fam while they were still in town. Jay, Gloria, My mom, and myself we're all on a lunch outing. It was Gloria's last day in town, and we we're just trying to make the time last. We had already been served and already began eating.  It was cutting close to the end of our lunch.

(Ms. Tina) "Well Gloria..." my mom said "I must say it was a pleasure to finally meet you..you and i have to make time for ourselves in the future...especially since we're going to be in-laws." my mom said gloating about Jay and I getting marriage.

(Gloria) "Oh yes indeed...and it was just as pleasurable to meet you as well, you raised a fine girl you did...the both of them."

(Ms. Tina) "Thank you, and Mickey and Annie are such beautiful woman, it's a shame i didn't get to meet Eric though."

(Jay) "Yea, ma.." he said cutting in " Why didn't Eric come?" 

(Gloria) "Well thats because he has some business to handle..." she said, but she was trying to cover up for something.

(Jay) "Is it something dealing with him and Emily...i thought they were trying to work things out." he said assuming that was the reason why.

(Gloria) "No baby, it's not that..he..." pauses so that she could try to find the right words to say. "he's just...--"

(Jay) "Well what is it..." he asked interrupting becoming more concerned. 

From the looks of Gloria and how she was acting, I felt things were about to become intense so i tried to cut in to distract Jay and throw him off.

(Bey) "Jay...baby, are we still going into the city after this?" but that didn't work Jay just flat out ignored and kept on.

(Jay) "What did he get into trouble or something?" Gloria knew Jay wasn't going to stop, she knew she had to just to him the truth.

(Gloria) "Well i was going to tell you, but i just never knew when was the right time..." she said becoming nervous to speak.

(Jay) "Right time to tell me what?" he said beginning to get worried and worked up.

(Bey) "Jay.." i said grabbing his hand as he gripped it "Calm down..."

(Jay) "Wait no, i just wanna know."

I could by the look on my mom's face that she was uncomfortable and so was I. I could look in Gloria's eyes and see that whatever was about to come out her mouth was going to have a huge effect on Jay. I just knew i had to be prepared to comfort him.

(Gloria) "Look Shawn, it's not easy for me to tell you this but it's time you should know..." she began "Yai Yai is sick...she's been in and out of the hospital for the past month and a half  an--"

Jay was becoming more worried, i could hear it in his voice when he spoke "Sick, what do you mean sick?"

(Gloria) "One of her kidney's collapsed and since then she's been having problems."

Jay started getting mad "Wel why didn't anyone call me" he said sliding back in his chair.

(Gloria) "Well we were, but i know how you are about her and i just couldn't bare to break it to you."

Jay angrily pounds his fist into his other hand and i grabbed ahold of his arm to calm him down. "So you wait this long to----" starts sliding back in his chair "MAN.." he grunted as he stood up, then walked off. 

I excused myself from the table and went off and followed after Jay. When i got outside i saw that Jay was already far up the street and it was got, i was pregnant, and on top of that i was in heels. This was so not the combination to have to chase some one up the street. I was speed walking after Jay and shouting his name but he wouldnt stop, then all of a sudden my feet began to swell. Really?! I kicked off my heels then continued to follow after Jay. Finally i shouted "SHAWN..." and he stopped dead in his tracks and slowly turned around, frowning and all.

When i caught up to Jay, i was panting trying to catch my breath from having to chase him up the street. The ground was hot and standing on my toes were not helping. "Jay whats up with you, why are you tripping?" i asked.

(Jay) "Cuz man....they've known all this time and didn't tell me, when i could have been there with her to see her." he said very angrily. 

(Bey) "I know that Jay but look at how your reacting now, can you blame them." i said trying to get him to understand "All I'm saying is your temper is why it's hard to tell you things sometimes."

(Jay) "But...It's....Well...." takes a deep sigh and gets quiet. Jay knew what i said was right which is why he didn't have anything to say. "You right B, but why couldn't hey have just told me from the get go, you know."

(Bey) "I know Jay..." she said caressing him, still getting him calm. "But now you know, so lets just go from there."

(Jay) "But i want to see her B, i gotta see her." he said as his frustration began to rebuild.

(Bey) grabs ahold of Jay "Well if you want we can take  trip up there to see her."

(Jay) "Really?"

(Bey) "Yea, i mean you talk about me to her so much, i think it's about time i finally meet this sweet grandmother of yours?" i said getting Jay to crack a smile.

(Jay) "I love you..." he responded, Then kissed me on the forehead.

(Bey) "I love you too and i'd love you even more if we go back inside where i can sit down and get out this hot sun." i said halfway joking but serious.

Jay smirked at me then looked down at my feet "Oh shit, baby." he said, then started looking off down the street. He that we were a little ways from the restaurant and knew that i wasn't in no condition to walk back "Here, hop on my back." he said kneeling down.

I climbed onto Jay back where he carried me down the street. After we made it back to the restaurant Jay called for the car, went to pick up the check, then made up with his mom. After we left from there, we headed down into the city where we did a lot of sight seeing and shopping. Jay was cashing out on us left and right. I love it when he got in his spoiling mood because boy was it good. Once we were all finished up, it was time to take Gloria to the airport where she would meet up with Annie and Mickey. I also made sure we picked them up a few things as well. Once leaving from the airport, we headed back home where Jay rubbed my swollen feet and we all chilled out watching movies and having a good time. My mom didn't leave until the next morning.


The next day consisted of Jay and I packing and planning for our visit to see his Yai Yai. I was excited and nervous. I was excited because finally after all these months i finally get to meet her and nervous because after all these months i was just meeting her. It's a shame that i was meeting her in the hospital, but it didn't bother me. I just hope she likes me. Although Jay and i weren't leaving for another couple days we decided to pack in advance so that we want have to worry about doing it at the last minute and so that we could leave on time because we were going to drive.

I was laying out on the bed in the most awkward position. I was hot and my back was in pain. I was laying with one leg propped on my pillows, my other leg was stretched out in the opposite direction and my head was hanging over the edge of the bed. I burst into laughter when i saw Jay's face expression when he walked into he room. He was walking into the room counting money, and when he saw me he stopped dead in his tracks, staring at me hard, raising one of his eyebrows.

(Jay) "Uhhh.....should i leave." he joked.

(Bey) "Hahaha..." i laughed "Where are you coming from?" i asked as i began to sit up as Jay made his way over to the bed.

(Jay) "I just came from meeting up with my lawyer and seeing my P.O."

(Bey) "Oh what were they talking about..." i said becoming fully interested to know.

Jay was sitting on the bed next to me, giving me a this look, i could tell he was frustrated, but he was trying to hold it back. "We'll they're still trying hold me for that shit with ol dude but my lawyer trying work on getting the charges dropped. But things with my P.O are coming along good, I just went ahead to finish up on my payments and talk to her about doing community service to cut my time on probation, so that i can get an early release."

As much as i was trying not to think about all the bad things, they just seemed to hit me. Jay and i together have so much on the line that this whole situation can jeopardize what we have going on. Aside from our wedding and baby girl's arrival, Jay still have huge endorsement deals he's trying to close, as well as myself, and the way the press is rambling on about it. It's hard trying to deal with the situation in private.

(Bey) "Look what ever happens with this, happens. We just have to face it and deal with it."

(Jay) "I know..." he said as he grabbed my hand "And I'm sorry B that you have to go through this, this is the last thing i wanted to happened. Here you are trying build upon keeping our family together, and all I'm doing is just tearing us apart."

(Bey) "That doesn't matter because I'm gonna be here no matter what...and as you future wife, i vowel to you that I will remain with you until death do us part. Im not saying things between us will always be good and gravy because i know they won't, i just feel as ling as we have each other to lean on we can get through anything." I said  as i allowed Jay to place a kiss upon my cheek.

(Jay) "I swear to god i can't wait to marry you....B you mean to world and beyond to me" he said just after kissing me "You and baby girl are all i need in life."

(Bey) "And speaking of baby girl, we have to decide on a name. With the way things our going with my pregnancy i don't want her to pop out unexpectedly and we don't have a name for her..."

(Jay) chuckles "Right...." he said beginning to think "Hmmm, so what do you have in mind."

(Bey) "Well when mama named me, she gave me her last name....she said she wanted the family name to remain so since at the time i was her only child, she gave it to me."

(Jay) "Oh really? Hmp..." he said seeming intrigued by what i told him "Thats actually pretty cool...So what you wanna do the same for baby girl."

(Bey) giggles "Well not exactly but i think it would help with ideas for naming."

(Jay) "I actually like that idea though......hmm Carter Carter" he began "She'd be a double Carter."

(Bey) "Eww fuck no Jay...i am not naming by child Carter, that is such a boys name." i said in a amusing tone. "I can't believe you actually said that." i joked.

(Jay) "Oh so what you got something better..." he said playfully taking offense to what i said.

(Bey) "Well Misterrrrrrr, actuallllllllly i do...." i said being sarcastically extra "I want her name to have some meaning behind it....something thats a piece of me and a piece of you."

(Jay) "Liiiiiiike?" he said mocking me.

(Bey) "Weeeell Brooklyn is where you are from and thats what made you and Houston is where I'm from and thats what made me, and even in one of your songs you mentioned that if you have a daughter you will name her Brooklyn sooooo....."

(Jay) "Brooklyn Houston Carter......" he said cutting in "I like that, it just rolls off your tongue..." he being silly.

(Bey) "Exactly."

(Jay) "Well i think it perfect, cuz that's exactly what she is a representation of us."

(Bey) "Yaaaay" i said becoming peeked about finding the perfect name "I can't wait to meet my Brook Brook."

(Jay) "And i can't either...." he said as he rubbed my stomach.

Jay and I spent our next few moments talking about Brook and planning the baby shower and bunch of other mess. But in the back of my mind I couldn't help but think about what Jay could be facing with his whole case he has. And although i knew no matter what, we we're going to get through it, I just wish that we didn't have to at all.

PART TWO
We were officially at Gloria's house. I guess we picked the right time to come because Gloria had a lot going on at her house. She was cooking on the grill, there were a few people posted outside of her house, the music was going, and surprise, surprise Grandma Hatti, Jay's Yai Yai was home.

Jay walked into the house carrying our bags and luggage, dropping them at the front door. I guess he was tired from trying to barry everything at once because he was being lazy, trying to avoid having to walk back to the car.

Jay goes over to greet his mom and kisses her on the cheek "Ma, what is all this? Why are al these people around the house, me and B barely made it to the door."

(Gloria) "Well we're just having a little neighborhood gathering, and with Yai Yai being home from the hospital i thought it would be good for her."

(Jay) "Yai Yai?" he said stunned like. Jay had walked in not noticing his Yai Yai sitting on the couch. But she noticed him, but she didn't want to say anything until Jay saw her. I came in right after Jay, going over to greet Annie and Mickey who were in the kitchen, coming back out Just in time for Jay to introduce me to his Yai Yai.

(Yai Yai) "Is that my handsome boy right there?" she said happy as ever to see Jay.

(Jay) "Yea Yai Yai, it's me..." he said in his trying to be cool voice going over to greet, giving her a kiss and a long embracing hug.

(Yai Yai) "Where's that pretty girl at you walked in here with and did i see she was pregnant?" she asked and i became nervous when  i heard her say that. I was cool when she said the pretty girl part, but not so much when she got to me being preggo.

(Jay) "Oh yea, Beyoncé..." he said turning out to look for me "B, come here and meet my Yai Yai."

I walked over very nervously, but i was excited about meeting her. She seem very lovely.

(Bey) "Hi Yai Yai....I'm Bey.."i said extending out my arms to hug her "It's so good to finally meet you."

(Yai Yai) "Yes and you too..." she said smiling "Girl will you look at you...give it a few more weeks and you want be able to see your feet." she joked.

(Bey) "Oh god, i can't hardly wait."

(Yai Yai) "Come on here and sit down next to me..." she said as she made room for me to sit down, she was so sweet and thoughtful. "Lets talk a bit. Jay you run along and let me have my time with her." she said a she playfully shoo Jay away. "Go on now."

(Jay) "Aw Yai Yai, it's like that."

(Yai Yai) "It sure is, now you go on Skibby before i bring up some embarrassing moments from when you was a boy."

(Jay) "Aw Yai Yai, thats cold." Jay said fas he laughed, walking away. "And Skibby though grams, thats bold why you gonna put me out there like that." he said leaving into the back room with Eric.

(Bey) laughing "So Skimmey huh?" I said trying to figure out who, and what that meant.

Yai Yai let out the cutest laugh when i said that, she knew i had caught on "Child yea....when Jay was younger her had real bad bone knees and his legs were real scrawny, so we use to call him Skibby, well i still do."

I couldn't stop laughing, i thought that shit was too funny "Well unfortunately for me, i was a chubby child. So my nicknames were chunky monkey, cookie monster....because i looooove cookies, and things like chubby wubby." I said warming up to Yai Yai. I was feeling completely comfortable.

(Yai Yai) "Well i always said to Jay if you get a girl she better come with some meat on her because, Hoooone when i tell you I thought Jay was going to be slim the rest of his life..." she said breaking out into laughter.

(Bey) "Well he's such a strong and healthy man now." I added.

(Yai Yai) "Yes indeed."

Mickey and Annie come walking into the living room, getting ready to head outside "Hey Bey, you wanna come out with us?" Mickey said. 

I looked to Yai Yai to see if it would be alright, i didn't want to me rude "Oh go ahead baby, I aint going no where, go ahead and enjoy yourself." she insisted.

(Bey) "Ok. I'll be back though...it was nice talking too you." i said beginning to head out.

(Yai Yai) "You too baby..."

I got outside and it was more people then before out there. Everyone seemed like they we're having a good time. Annie, Mickey, and myself were sitting on the porch talking and watching everyone enjoy themselves, when Annie went out into the street and started dancing. It was some song i had never heard before but it was a nice song to dance to.

(Annie) "Come on B and you too Mickey...come on out here and daaaaaaaance." she said as she shook her thing out in the street. You could tell Annie was a bit buzz, cuz she was really feeling herself.

I debated on rather i should go out and dance cuz I'm not the best dancer, then i just thought why not? "Ok An, here i come." i said dancing my way off the porch, Mickey decided to sit this one out.

I got out into the street as people started forming some type of line on the side of me, behind me, and all around me. The song was switching over to some new little groovy song called the wobbled. Now i ha no clue, what the wobble was, but thats exactly what my pregnant self was doing was wobbling. My stomach wasn't at it's biggest point yet, but it was still in formation. I could feel Brooklyn moving around ass i bounced around, it was such a weird feeling. Many of the people around were fans of me and Jay, well those who knew of us anyway...they couldn't help but take pictures and watch me dance. It was a little awkward.

After a while of dancing my feet began to hurt. I guess i didn't learn my lesson from the other day. I made my way back in the house as it began to get dark. When i walked in Mickey was back in the house, Eric, Jay, Gloria, and Yai Yai were all sitting and eating, Annie was still outside shaking her thing.

(Gloria) "I seen ya out there girl, getting your wobble on." she teased.

(Bey) "I should have sat my butt down somewhere cuz now I'm tired and my feet hurt."

(Eric) "Well here sis, come sit down..." he said getting up.

(Bey) "Oh no, I'm fine..i'll just sit over here..." i said finding a seat.

(Jay) "Baby, you hungry?"

(Bey) "I am atcually.." i said watching Jay and everyone else eat "You gonna fix my plate?"

Jay got up walking over to me and sat his plate in the table next to me "Yea i will, watch this for me.." he said referring to his food "Do you want everything?" he asked just before going into the kitchen.

(Bey) "Yea it don't matter, you know what i like." i said, at the point i was at, it was no time to be picky.

As i was sitting there waiting for Jay to come back with my food, i had started picking off his plate and before i knew it I had eaten all his food. The look on his face was priceless when he came back and saw that his plate was empty. 

(Jay) "Really B?" he said not even mad.

(Bey) "Weeell you were taking too long, sorry." i said in my cute voice.

(Jay) "He fatty.." he said siting my plate in front of me and taking his to get him some more food.

(Bey) "Can you get me something to drink while your in there?"

(Jay) "Yea..." he yelled to me, as he had already made his way to the kitchen.

After Jay brought back my drink we spent the rest of our evening with his family, playing board games, card games, all sorts of games. We were bonding very well as usual. I love the energy that Jay family brings and i love how happy Jay gets we he's around them. Especially now that his Yai Yai is home. Already from the time that i've been here, not once have i thought about Jay's case. That was probably the last thing i was thinking about. All i knew at that moment was making the time that i had with him count.

I was just getting out the shower and Jay was already in bed, but he was up watching tv. I was in the mirror staring at myself and my stomach because i couldn't believe how fast my stomach was growing. I also began to think about the last time Jay has seen me naked. Lately i've been more private when it comes to getting dress and being naked. It just seem so weird with my stomach poking out and all, so i told Jay he can't see me like this until i regain my shape. We also agreed upon not having sex, well at least i told Jay that's how things were going to go. But tonight i was feeling different. 

I opened the door to the bathroom and slowly walked out, strutting my sexy baby bump.
I looked over at Jay out the corner of my eye to see if he was staring and with out a doubt he was. I just kept on doing what i was doing. I wanted to play with him a bit.

(Jay) "Your are something else..." he said rolling over out of bed, to sit along the edge "What you think you doing?" he said.

(Bey) "Ohh nothing....just drying off." i said, then striking into a cute pose.

Jay licked his lips and rubbed his hands together, i already knew what that meant....i had him.

(Bey) ''You Know what i'v been thinking about.." i said seductively as i slowly, but sexily walked over to Jay "We've haven't had sex in about a good 3 months...thats a long time."

(Jay) "Hmp, i'll say."

As i made my way over to Jay, i sat on top of him, with my bump against his chest. He wrapped his arms around me, as i did around him and then together we shared in the most deepest most passionate kiss. 

(Jay) breaking away from the kiss "Mmm, you gonna get a nigga in trouble, Yai Yai gonna get us if she here us."


(Bey) "Well then, i guess you just gonna have to practice on not screaming  then huh?" i teased.

(Jay) "Ch, Girl!" Jay said as he gripped me tight, laying back, turning over on top of me.

(Bey) "Mm, thats right...." i said as i began to position myself.

(Jay) "You just don't know......im about to tear that puss puss up..." he said whispering in my ear.

(Bey) "Thats exactly what i like to hear..." i whispered back.

It with that being said Jay did just that. He tore my puss puss up. I have never seen Jay go in like this. I mean i know he's known to be rough at times, but tonight his roughness did not bother me. It was actually refreshing. I didn't mind his aggressiveness tonight it was very soothing. The way he held me, the way he touched me, the way he kissed me, the way he caressed me, the way he pulled my hear.......i was getting on Jay for screaming and shit, but it was me who was doing all the yelling.  I'm pretty sure his Yai Yai , Mama, his neighbors, shit the whole NJ heard me. It Jay was going to be putting it down like THIS......shit, i was most definitely gonna need more of that. I mean he was good before, but he went beyond better tonight.
