Chp 23 "Where it All Began"

A few days has passed now. It's thanksgiving. All i wanna do is eat and relax with the people i love, after having to work nonstop for the past days. I better soak it up now though because this is my only off day i have until a couple of weeks. And Jay's birthday is coming up, so i have to make sure i have time for that. But i didn't want to think about it, i just wanted to enjoy my day. I had a few errands i needed to run today though, before actually getting my day started. Nothing major though, just little things. Jay on the other hand had a meeting he had to attend. He was closing up some big endorsement deal with Nike, but it wasn't going to take up much of his day. He would still have time to make it to my parents, as well as be on time to see his mom's. We decided to drive up to NJ, since that's where his mom lives. Also because it was the warmest day in November and we thought it would be perfect. Solo was off with my mom, helping her get things ready for today. Jay had just left out for his meeting, and I, myself was heading out the door as well.


(Text to Jay) What time is your meeting over?


(Text from Jay) 2 or 3 maybe...


(Text to Jay) Do you want me to wait for you or do you just wanna meet me at my mom's.


(Text from Jay) Uh, me meet at my place.


(Text to Jay) Okay, text me when your leaving.


(Text from Jay) Alright, i gotta go. See you later babe, i love you.


(Text to Jay) I love you too Pop Pop.


I was so excited about today. I couldn't wait for Jay to meet mom and dad, and i couldn't wait to meet his mother. He never really talks about his father, i remember a while ago him telling me about him. But he never really got into much details. I was on my way to the office to gather somethings up. I was getting ready to go to Paris for fashion week, but i was going to be there for 2. And Jay and Kanye were going out to do a check for artist and potentials singers. I was hoping that the busier we would be while we're away would be enough to keep off minds off missing each other. It's driving me crazy just thinking about it. I had Julius take me around town to get some last minute stuff done. And right now i was on my way to get me a mani & pedi. Which was much needed. After that i went and got a wax, then once that was out the way i headed to my office, to catch up on a few things. I spent the rest of my time here until Jay texted me letting me know he was on his way to his place. From my office i headed straight to Jay's, my mom called me while i was in the car. She called and apologized about the whole dispute at the office, saying she wouldn't make any remarks until she has met Jay for herself. I was so hoping things with well.


....................(PHONE CONVO)


(Ms. Tina) "Hey, it's almost 3 o'clock, when are you coming?"


For us Thanksgiving is an all day event we cook, eat, and laugh all day.


(Bey) "Uhm, we'll be there in a min, i told you i had to finish up at the office and Jay had that meeting?"


(Ms. Tina) "I know, but i didn't think it would be this long. We're just excited to see you and meet him thats all."


Bey checks her phone and see's that Jay is calling on the other line.


(Bey) "I know ma, but look I'm in the car right now, i'll call you in a min, matter a fact i just see you in a min."


(Ms. Tina) "Alright."


(Bey) "Hey" i said as i clicked over.


(Jay) "Where you at I'm at the house?"


(Bey) "I'll be pulling up in five minutes."


(Jay) "Well ima go ahead and get dressed......you don't have to change or nothing do you.?"


(Bey) "Na, I'm good. I got my eating clothes on." i joked.


(Jay) letting out a laugh "You silly, talking about i got my eating clothes on" he mocked "Im see you when you get here."


(Bey) giggling "Alright." hangs up.


Moments after I got off the phone with Jay, i was pulling up to his place. I walked right in, i didn't even have to use my key because it was unlocked. I walked in and saw his brief case and suit jacket placed at the door. I went upstairs to greet him, but he was in the shower. After a brief wait, he was coming out of the bathroom. I sat on the bed as he came over and kissed me on my forehead.


(Jay) "You ready for today?" he said as he walked over to his dresser and grab some draws out and a tshirt.


(Bey) "Yea, i guess so. Are you?"


(Jay) putting on his boxer's "Im ready for whatever."


(Bey) "So what happen if they don't like you?" i said rhetorically. I mean why wouldn't they like him.


(Jay) putting on his tshirt "Well it aint shit i could do about it, now is it." he said jokingly but really serious.


(Bey) letting out a soft laugh "Well i know for sure your mom is gonna like me. Im just so lovable." i teased.


(Jay) points on the bed past Bey "Hand me those shorts right there?"


(Bey) "Why are you wearing shorts, you know it's gone get cold later." i said handing him his shorts.


(Jay) grabbing his shorts and putting them on "I got some pants if i get cold."


(Bey) "Well okay, but uhm are you ready to go?"


(Jay) "Damn could i at least out my socks and shoes on." 


(Bey) "Well excuse me for being hungry."


(Jay) "Your always hungry."


(Bey) "Oh shut up" starts rocking on the bed "Ugggggh are you ready."


(Jay) chuckles as Bey's brattiness "Calm down, let me put some lotion and shit on and then we can go ol hungry, grumpy ass."


(Bey) giggles "Well you knew what you were getting yourself into" i joked "Now you have to deal with it."


(Jay) finishes with the lotion "And i keep you fed don't I, well at least you keep me" he teased.


(Bey) laughs "See this is why i can't have no real conversation with you because you always thinking negative." i teased back.


(Jay) stands there smirking "Come on, are you ready to eat or what?" he said trying to change the subject.


(Bey) "Dont change the subject punk, and yes i am ready" looking at a sweater he has on the bed "Do you want me to grab this?"


(Jay) "Yea grab that" he said as he walked out, and i followed right behind him.


We arrived to my mom and dad's close to 3:30. When we got there everyone was already there. Kelly, Michelle, Angie, Ty, Daniel was even back in town. I had also brought Julius along since he was going to be driving is up to NJ anyway. When we walked in, it was sort of all eye on us. I grabbed a hold of Jay's hand as we entered further in the house. I wanted him to feel comforted and loved, not like he was walking the green mile. Solo was the first to greet him, as followed my Kelly, Angie, Michelle, then Ty. My parents were the last the speak. And then i greeted everyone.


(Jay) "It's nice to meet everyone, especially you Mr. and Mr.s Knowles, I'm honored to spend today with you guys."


(Ms. Tina) "It's nice having you agai...uh what was it you said your name was again?"


(Jay) "Shawn but many people call me Jay."


(Ms. Tina) "I'll just stick with Jay." she said smiling "come sit down, have a seat."


As my mom took Jay on a tour of the house, i stayed around and talked to my dad.


(Bey) "Hey daddy." i said as i hugged him.


(Mr. Knowles) "Hey my girl, i've missed you." he said as he hugged me back.


(Bey) "'I've missed you too."


(Mr. Knowles) "So how've you been and whats been going on?"


(Bey) "I've been great, i couldn't be more happier. How are you, how have you been?" 


My dad and i was sitting off to the side, having our own conversation.


(Mr. Knowles) "You know me" he said letting out a chuckle "So that's your new guy huh?"


I knew it was a matter of time before he started speaking on that. 


(Bey) "Yes, he is actually a great guy. He's way much different the Tony thats for sure."


(Mr. Knowles) "And what happened between you and Tony by the way, your mother told me that you guys split, though she never went into details. But I had no idea things were that bad. I mean 10 years.....just gone like that." he said as he snapped his finger.


I already knew how my dad was going to feel about the whole Tony situation, that was practically his son, but my dad needed to understand that Tony and I are done. It's all about me and Jay. I don't want to have to argue with him, it's bad enough i had to go through it with my mom. I was so past Tony that i hated speaking about it, it was just make me mad all over again.


(Bey) "Look dad, me and Tony are over and I'm with Jay now, you could at least give him a chance."


(Mr. Knowles) "Okay baby, i will, but only for you."


(Bey) smiling "Thanks daddy."


After speaking with my dad I went over and chilled with the crew. And as usual, they wanted to crack jokes.


(Ty) "Okay Bey, you didn't tell me you were dating Mr. Jayz, also known as Mr. Bad Boy, are you sure about him?" he teased but was really being serious.


(Bey) "Yes and shhhh because he's coming back this way." i said as i watched Jay walk back up with my mom.


(Ms. Tina) whisper in my ear "Ohh Beyonce,  he is a very interesting man but he seems really loving. Im so happy for you."


(Bey) "Thanks mom."


(Jay) speaking to everyone "So what were yal chatting about before i walked up."


(Ty) "Nobody just you." he teased.


(Jay) chuckling "Me, what about me."


(Ang) "Nothing bad, we just trying to figure somethings out.....come sit down and talk with us." she insisted.


(Bey) looks at Jay


(Jay) looks at Bey


(Bey) laughs "Oh lord" and Jay sits down. 


(Michelle) "So whats the deal with you Mr. Shawn Carter?"


I knew Jay was about to get thrilled. There's no way in hell they would have let it slip by.


(Jay) "Aww you gonna call me by the government, oh okay" he said letting out a laugh "But hmm i don't, ask Kelly or Solo they'l vouch for me."


(Bey) looking at Jay laughing 


I was becoming amused by Jay being interrogated but i was amazed at how well he was handling it.


(Kelly) "Oh no don't put me in it."


(Solo) "My bro is the shizzzznick." she said looking at Ms. Tina to see how she would react.


(Ms. Tina) giving Solo a look


(Jay) smiling 


(Michelle) "But i asked you"


(Jay) "I don't have no deal, I'm just jay, doing what ever Jay wants and what ever Jay feels and I'm really feeling your girl." he said all proudly. I couldn't do anything but blush.


(All the girls) "Awwwwwwww."


(Ang) "Good answer."


(Solo) whispers to Kelly "And he's doing whatever he wants with her." she joked.


(Kelly) chokes on her food from laughing "Solange you are silly" she said laughing and trying to catch her breath from choking.


(Bey) "Oh what Solo, you down there talking shi--" looking at Ms. Tina "I mean stuff."


(Everyone) laughing 


(Solo) laughing "Nooooo I'm not."


(Bey) "Yea you better not, don't make me start getting on Daniel." i teased.


(Solo) lauhing


(Daniel) "Aw what i do?"


(Jay) nods at Daniel "Whats up Daniel man, i aont even see you right there."


(Daniel) cracks a smile "What up Jay."


(Ms. Tina) "Oh you 2 know each other?"


(Jay) "Yea, i met him when he came up to visit about a week or 2 ago."


(Ms. Tina) "Oh okay, well isn't that nice."


(Bey) whispers to Jay "Hey I'm gonna go get me something to eat, do you want anything?" i said getting up. "excuse me mom" i said as i slid past her.


(Jay) "Just get me what ever your getting and a beer."


(Bey) "Okay."


I went into the kitchen to fix me and Jay's plate. I was happy to see that he was getting along with everyone so well. Im just a little worried though, my dad has been silent all night. I was hoping he was going to keep to his word about giving Jay a chance. Thats the last thing i needed was for them 2 to be going at it. When i got back out into the dinning room, i saw that Jay was sitting on the couch talking to my dad. From a distance it seem like everything was good, but as i got closer i saw that it wasn't. I walked over to bring Jay his food and heard my dad telling Jay he was good enough for me. Then we got into this big fight about it and he mention how i should have just stayed with Tony, but he doesn't know the whole situation so he can't really speak on that. I was getting so mad from arguing with my dad about Jay that i just stormed out. We were already leaving anyway, but just a little earlier. I hate that Jay had to experience that. All he wanted to do was make a good impression, and my dad was just being an asshole. The whole car ride to Jay's mom's house, i was just so mad. I was getting calls and text from everyone, asking if i was okay, telling me i should come back but i didn't. I just left. I was hoping we would have a better experience with his family then we did with mines.


***(In the Car)


(Jay) rubbing Bey on the arms "Come on B, don't be mad. You see i aint tripping. Don't let that get you all worked up."


(Bey) "No because it's not fair."


I was so worked up. That stuff that my dad said to Jay really bothered me. How dare he even past judgement on him, then have the nerve to say i should have stayed with Tony. Jay has been nothing but good to me and these past months, then Tony has been to me in our whole 10 years. I just really wanted things to go right.


(Jay's Thoughts)
It bothered me to see Bey like this. But i can't help how her father is going to feel. If he doesn't like me so what, all i can do is respect his feelings. I know for me being a guy and if i were to one day ever have a daughter and she starts dating, in my eyes no man is good for her either. I just want Bey to know that despite what her father says I'm going to still feel the way i feel for her.


(Jay) "So big whoops your pops don't like me" he said as he shrugged his shoulders "Im not fucking him, I'm fucking you right?" he said, trying to joke around and calm me down.


(Bey) rolls eyes "Right."


(Jay) "So whats the issue then."


(Bey) "Noooooothing."


Leave it to Jay to always make me feel better.


(Jay) "Alright, now quit all that moping."he tickling me.


(Bey) laughing "Okay."


(Jay) "I see im gonna have to teach you to be tough, huh."


(Bey) "I am tough, punk!"


(Jay) "You aint nothing" he said as he started tickling me again.


We wrestled in the car as Jay tickled me. I was beginning to feel much better. I was also still hungry due to the fact i didnt get to finish my meal at my moms. My stomach was hurting so bad from laughing and from being hungry, that i didn't want to play anymore.


(Bey) "Okay, stop i quit. my stomach hurts."


(Jay) "You always quit with your punk ass." he teased.


(Bey) panting "You better stop talking to me like that."


(Jay) "I know you wanna get tough." he teased again.


(Bey) "Im just give up, it's never no winning with you." i chuckled.


(Jay) "Oh you you know that." he said as he playfully mushed my head.


(Bey) "Stop for you mess up my hair."


(Jay) "It's weave anyway."


(Bey) "No it's not, well not all of it."


(Jay) "It doesn't matter its still in there."


(Bey) rolls her eyes 


(Jay) "Aw come here you know I'm playing with you." he said as he snatched me over by him.


All of a sudden the car was coming to a stop.


(Julius) "Its looks like its construction going on up here, so it my be a minute."


(Bey and Jay) looking out of the car window.


(Jay) "Uhm alright, just pull over here then, and we'll just sit and wait until the traffic started flowing through and besides where not that far away."


(Julius) "Alright." he says and pulls over to the side.


(Bey) ""Lets go take some pictures." i said grabbing my camera out my bag.


(Jay) "I aint getting out this car girl." he complained.


(Bey) begging "Please, just a few pictures i promise." i said poking out my lip.


(Jay) rolls eyes "I guess so, cry baby. Come on." he said as he opened the door to get out.


(Bey) "Hey Ju, where about to get out and take some pictures." i said as i climbed out the car.


(Julius) "Okay, here i come." he said as he got out to.

Jay and I stood outside for about 20 mins to take pictures. Thats about how long it took us to get out of traffic. Not only that but we were only 15 mins away from Jay's moms house. He spent the rest of the time in the car giving me the run down on who's who's, what to expect, you know the whole 9. I became nervous as we made it closer and closer to Jay's mom's house. We pulled up to her house and i was more nervous then i was before. And all Jay was laughed at me. We got to the door and just as we were about to knock, his sister Mickey started to open it.


(Mickey) "Omg SHAAAAAAAAAAAWN." she said as she hopped onto Shawn hugging him.


(Jay) Hugging her back "Hey Mickey, this here is my girlfriend Beyonce, and Bey this my sister Michelle, but everyone calls her Mickey."


(Mickey) staring at Bey smiling


Mickey was Jay's oldest sister. She was nothing how i expected, she was much more friendly.


(Bey) extending out her hand "Hi, it's so nice to meet you.


(Mickey) pulls Bey in to hug her "Girl, give me a hug." she said hugging me "It's nice to finally meet, come on lets go inside and meet everybody else." she said taking me by the hand.


(Bey) "Okay."


I followed after Mickey into the house. His other sister Annie was setting the table while his mom was in the kitchen. His brother Eric was sitting on the couch watching the game. Jay went over to greet Eric while Mickey took me over to meet Annie, who's real name was Andrea. She was a lot more stand offish then Mickey. But i didnt let it phase me, i just went on with Mickey as she took me to meet there mom Ms.Gloria. 


(Ms. Gloria) "Well look at you, Miss Thang. Well are you just the beautifulest thing." she said coming over to hug me.


(Bey) "Aw thank you, well aren't you sweet." i said smiling.


Jay's mom was so opening and loving. I could see where he gets it from. She was the sweetest most, gorgeous, kind hearted woman you could meet. We hit it off right off the back. It wasn't long before she was showing me pictures of Jay as a child. And might i say he has came a looooong way. I had a fun time teasing him about his fade he use to rick back in the day. The rest of the evening with well. Annie was still on her toes about be, but she was pretty cool. I found out through Michelle that she doesnt like any of Jay's girlfriends, but she did like Aaliyah. Her and jay were really close and she was very leery about the girls he dated. We were having so much fun at Jay's mother's house that we ended up staying longer usual. We decided that we were just going to spend the night and leave first thing in the morning. 




After chatting with Ms. Gloria and the girls and Eric some more and helping clean up and reorganize everything, i made my way upstairs to where Jay and i would be sleeping. I said my goodbye and goodnights and headed on my way. When i got to the bedroom, he was in the bathroom. Julius also stayed the night, being that he was the driver. And besides Julius is more than a bodyguard, he's like a family friend. I slept into some into Jay's tshirt he had taken off and got into bed. Jay had packed us an overnight bag just incase we deduced to stay the night but forgot to pack pajamas. Therefore i just used his shirt.


(Jay) coming out the bathroom "Oh so you just gone take me shirt like that?" he said as he went and climbed into bed.


(Bey) "Well if someone would have packed some extra clothes i wouldn't have to wear you tshirt now would i."


(Jay) laughing and cozying up with Bey "So did you have a nice time?"


(Bey) "Yea."


(Jay) "How did you like everybody."


(Bey) "Everybody seems cool, especially Mickey, and i just love your mom, and eric is just so funny. But Annie, she acts a lithe eeeeh...."


(Jay) chuckling "Thats Annie for you, she like that with all the girls i dated."


(Bey) "Well Mickey told me, she was very found of Aaliyah."


(Jay) "Yea thats true, but she's been real bitter after Aaliyah's death. Those 2 became real close while we dated."


(Bey) "How long were you guys together, well you know, before what happened happened?"


(Jay) "About 5 or 6 months. But we started off as friends."


(Bey) "Oh okay."


(Jay) "Anything else you wanna know about or gotta tell me." he said playfully.


(Bey) "Uh, no" i said shaking me head "But just that i use to have a tattoo before." i said wanting to play around, and see Jay's reaction.


(Jay) "Hm, a tattoo. Where at?"


(Bey) "I had it on my waist, just below my panty line."


(Jay) "Ohh i wish i could have saw that?"


(Bey) "Why nasty?" i teased.


(Jay) "Because you don't look like the type to have a tattoo." he said rubbing his hand up my side.


(Bey) giggles "Well yea, i had a tattoo big whoop."


(Jay) "What was it?"


(Bey) "Thats for me to know and you to find out." i said as i rolled over turning my back towards him.


(Jay) tickles my side "Oh its like that?"


(Bey) laughing "Yup."


(Jay) "It was probably Tony's name" he jokingly mumbled, but i caught what he said.


(Bey) "Oh fuck No" i said in a loud whisper, i didn't want his mom to hear me being a heathen. "You know me better than that." i said elbowing him in the stomach.


(Jay) "Ow" he said chuckling, through his pain "Damn i was just playing."


(Bey) "Well thats what you get." i said with an attitude.


I had got so mad when Jay had made that joke about Tony and my tattoo. I don't know why i let it bother me so much but it did. I just knew at that point i was so done with talking to him.


(Jay) taps Bey side "Bey........" shakes her side "Bey"


(Bey) ignores Jay 


(Jay) "Oh so you ignoring me?" he said tickling on my stomach. "So you mad?"


(Bey) still not responding.


I was so mad, i wasnt in the mood to play any games.


(Jay) start stroking Beys hair and whispers in her ear "Bey.....Bey...."


(Bey) rolls her eyes and scoots away from 


***(Jays POV)
I didn't even care that Bey was mad. I just love how cute she gets when she acts all mad. I normally make her mad on purpose just so we could have some make up sex. Man make up sex with Bey is insane. Especially when she's super mad, she be going in. 


(Jay) "Bey why you acting like that, you know i aint mean it." i said scooting closer to her.


I know Bey wasn't really mad, she was probably just tripping out because she wants some attention.


(Bey) tries to scoot away again but Jay grabs her.


Bey ass still didn't want to talk, but i did something i knew would make her talk.


(Jay) bites Bey's neck 


(Bey) "Stooooooop" she said in a whining voice.


(Jay) "Then stop acting mad" he said still biting on my neck.


(Bey) "Jaaaaay" i said still whining "Get off of me."


***(Bey's POV)
Honestly I wasn't really mad about what Jay had said. I just wanted to mess with him and have him think that i was. Then on top of that i knew it would lead to sex, which is something i need right about now.


(Jay) takes his hand and rubs it in between Bey's thigh 


(Bey) still being resistant  "Don't touch me."


(Jay) he sticks his hands in Bey's underwear and starts placing with her "Tell me to stop and i'll stop." he said still kissing on Bey's neck.


(Bey) gets quiet


(Jay) still going "Thats what i thought."


(Bey) "Hush up."


(Jay) chuckles.


Jay slides Bey down into the middle and starts becoming more aggressive with her. 


(Bey) "Wait Jay.............we can't. Your mom is like 2 doors over."


(Jay) "Well i guess you gotta learn how to be quiet again." he joked.


(Bey) "What" i said trying to pull up but her stopped me "I am not trying to have sex in your mom's house."


(Jay) slides off Bey's panties "She'll be alright."


Jay slid down his shorts and entered inside of me. My body flinched the deeper he went. Every time it feels like a different time every time. I love it. It gives me such a great feeling. I could have died though when i heard his mom walking pass the door singing.


(Bey) moaning "Jaaaaaay..aaaaaaaay" i siad trying to whisper.


(Jay) "She or she'll hear you and come i hear." he said laughing.


(Bey) "Thats.....what....i..i..im trying ...to...tell...you, stop." i said panting trying to maintain my voice level.


(Jay) "Un-uh i can't, i still haven't got one off."


(Bey) "ssssssshhh, don't you know how to whisper."


And just as i was trying to "sssh" him, it happens.


(Ms. Gloria) yelling through the door "Shawn, you up in there."


(Jay) Still going "FUCK" he said all panting "Yea, ma......im up." he said trying to yell through the door.


(Bey) whispering to Jay "Come on Jay, lets just stop."


(Jay) "Ssh."


(Ms. Gloria) "Well what are you doing in there, did Beyonce go to sleep yet."


(Bey) mumbles "Oh my fucking gosh."


(Jay) letting out a soft chuckle "Really" he said whispering to himself "Im going to the bathroom ma, and yes she's sleeping."


(Bey) whispering "Jay just get up."


(Ms. Gloria) "Oh well do it a little bit more quieter, for you wake that poor girl. I heard ya, coming up the damn stairs."


(Jay) starts laughing "Alright ma, Gooooooodnight!"


(Bey)  whispering "Okay, thats it, I'm going to bed." i said trying to wiggle from up under Jay.


(Ms. Gloria) "Goodnight baby, i'll see you in the morning."


(Jay) "Alright" looks over at Bey "What you doing? We aint done yet?"


(Bey) "Oh yes the hell we are, I can't believe you, you know what i just going to bed." 


I was so mortified, i was lost for words. I didnt want to even wake up to face her tomorrow.


(Jay) flops his head in the pillow "Come one Bey, please?"


(Bey) adjusting her pillow and the blanket "No. After that shit, i am really going to bed. Im sorry to tell you."


(Jay) "Thats fucked up." he said scooting close by me.


(Bey) laughs "You'll be alright."


(Jay) "We always getting interrupted." he complained.


(Bey) "I know and i can't believe you gon shhh me in the middle of sex." i said letting out a laugh "You are something else."


(Jay) chuckling "I couldn't help myself."


(Bey) "Well i sure fixed that." i teased.


(Jay) "hush up big head."


(Bey) kisses Jay hands and scoots closer to him "Good night punk."


(Jay) "Goodnight" he said laughing "I love you."


(Bey) "I love you too." 


Well my thanksgiving didn't turn out exactly how i wanted it to. I was pretty bummed about my dad not liking Jay. But the fact that his family adored me, made the day even better. I knew in time my dad would change his mind about Jay, he just needed more time. Jay and I's day may have started off rough, but it ended perfectly. Just like i knew it would.
