CHP 25 Where it All Began

I've been in Paris for a few days now and Jay's birthday is just 2 days away. I still haven't told him about Tony calling and i've been feeling really bad about it.  I feel now that i just should of have but now i think its too late. I mean besides it was just a phone call. It's not like I'm still feeling him or anything. Anywho, its in the past i just need to let it go. 


Since i've been in Paris, i've been doing a lot of fashion shoots, runway walks, interviews, and signings. Fashion week in Paris is really insane and things get so hectic. It's been a lot going on and  i barely have time to talk to Jay. Its killing me knowing that I'm going to miss his birthday, but he already knows that if i could i would be there. 


I was sitting in my room, just lounging around. I wasn't set for anything until 1 so i just decided to get a little rest in. My mom was off handling business. And Angie and Ty were out meeting with a couple of agencies for me. Just as i was shutting my eyes, there was a knock at the door. I slowly got up to answer it. I wasn't in the mood for any company or guest, i just wanted to sleep. When i opened the door, i saw that it was Carol, the director for the next runway walk i was suppose to do.


(Carol) "Hi, Im sorry to bother you Ms. Knowles. How are you doing this morning?" she said after i opened the door.


(Bey) "It's fine. And I'm doing okay, i was just resting up. Please come on in." i said moving out of the way of the door so that she could walk in.


(Carol) walking long "I want be long" she said, we were still standing by the door "I just came to tell you that the shows you were scheduled to do for friday and saturday have been cancelled."


(Bey) "What? Really?" i asked a bit relieved "Why is that?"


(Carol) "The designer got food poisoning and is going to be out for the rest of the week."


(Bey) "Aw man, thats bad."


I really truly did feel bad about Jaq, the designer. But at the same time i was super happy because i was able to go home and see Jay. I was gonna surprise him. I hate though that I can't have the full 2 days, but hey i still get to be with my baby.


(Carol) starts walking back to the door "Yea i know. But your schedule for friday and saturday is still the same just minus the shoots."


(Bey) "Okay, thank you."


(Carol) "Your welcome, you have a good day Ms. Knowles." she said walking out.


(Bey) "Thanks Carol and you do the same." i said in attempt to close the door "Oh Carol" i said as i peeked my head out the door. "Make sure you send my regards to Jaq, tell him i hope he gets well soon."


(Carol) "I sure well." she said smiling.


And with that being said i shutter the door and went back and took a nap.


****(2 DAYS LATER) After making preparations for transporting to Miami, i was off. Being that i had to handle some business today, i wasn't able to leave until about 7, which meant i wouldn't be getting there until the morning, there's a 6 hr time difference.. Which was good because his birthday wasn't until Saturday anyway. My mom stayed in London to take care of what i had to do on Saturday being that i really didn't have to do much, while Angie Ty and myself, went on ahead to Miami. I let Kelly know i was coming, but i told her not to tell Jay. Kelly was good for keeping secrets, which was another reason why i always go to her to talk about things. When we arrived to Miami, it was 10 o'clock am the next day, Miami time. I was so exhausted from that 9 hr flight, that all i really wanted to do was sleep. 


After checking in, i told Angie and Ty i would meet up with them later. I needed a nap. I slept for about 2 hrs. I didn't want to take up the time i have here. I wanted to take advantage of the little time i had. After that i showered and got dressed. I called Kelly to see what was up with her, but she didn't answer the phone. I then decided to text Jay to see what he was up too.


(Text to Jay) Hey you, what are you up too?


(Text from Jay) Hey muffin, I'm not doing nothing. Just chilling out in my room.


(Text to Jay) Oh okay. How's your day going so far?


(Text from Jay) It's been good, but it would be even better if you were here.


(Text to Jay) I know Pop Pop, i wish i could. I miss you oh so much.


(Text from Jay) I miss you too.


(Text to Jay) What time is it there? 


(Text from Jay) It's like 12:15.


(Text to Jay) Yea, it's like 6 here.


(Text from Jay) Why are you even up? lol


(Text to Jay) I couldn't sleep. lol


(Text from Jay) And here i am thinking your wishing me a happy birthday.


(Text to Jay) Omg Jay, i totally forgot about that. Im sorry.


(Text from Jay) What you mean you forgot?


(Text to Jay) Exactly what i said. I mean i been so busy lately, it must have slipped my mind.

After sending out that last text, Jay stopped texting me. I figured he must have took me seriously about forgetting his birthday. But it was all apart of my plan to surprise him. 


***(With Jay)
I was sitting in my hotel room, waiting for my day to start. I had a couple of things i had to do today, then Ye said he had something planned for me. I wasn't really looking forward to my birthday so much, one being that Beyonce wasn't here to celebrate with me and on top of that she tells me she forgot my birthday. My mood was crushed.


(Jay's thought's)
When Bey told me that she forgot my birthday i was both pissed and hurt. It's bad enough thats she's already missing my birthday and now' she telling me she forgot. I wish she didn't have to work so damn much all the time. It's seems that now and days she's always too busy.


I was on my way out, heading to a breakfast meeting with a couple of guys from this new company I'm looking into. It was pretty much a company about land owning, land construction, you know things in that nature. But i was pretty much looking to invest so that i could own my own pieces of property one day. We all met up at up at the Pelican. I don't know why, but we always meet up there when we discuss business. It was a hotel, located in Miami, very upscale. The meeting didn't start til about 1:30, but i got there like a half early and set at the bar and had a few drinks. John was the first to get there out of the rest of the crew.


(John) "I see your celebrating a little early" he said nudging me laughing. "Happy Birthday!"


(Jay) chuckling and stands up to greet John "Jooooooohn" i said shaking his hand "Thank you, How's it going?"


(John) sitting down aside of Jay "Well you know, the ex is trying to raise up on the alimony, but i told them  and her that they could kiss my ass" he said letting out a laugh "I'll be damned if she thinks she's getting another dime out of me. She's already at 100 grand."


(Jay) makes a face and laugh "Whew that is a lot. And you are silly, i hope you really didn't tell them that though."


(John) "I sure in the hell did. What does she need all that got damn money for."


I couldn't take John sometimes. He was a very old guy, but full of energy. I also respected him a lot. He's helped me a lot with all my business decisions i've made. He's kind of been like my mentor.


(Bartender) "Could i get you anything?"


(John) "Vodka on the rocs please."


(Bartender) "And for you sir?"


(Jay) "I'll have another one of these." i said holding up my glass.


(Bartender) "Okay, coming right up." she said as she winked then walked away.


(John) "Man the you see the recks on that bartender." he playfully said.


(Jay) laughs "hahha John man, you are just too much at times."


(John) "I swear if i were your age, i wouldn't even think about marriage. Especially after going through what i went through with Sheryl. If i would have known being married would have costed so much, i would have stayed single." he joked.


(Jay) chuckles "You are crazy."


(Bartender) walking back over  "Here you are." she said handing us our drinks.


(John) pulls out his wallet and tips the lady like 100 dollars "There are doll" he said smirking at her "You have a nice day."


(Bartender) smiling at John "Thanks, and you do the same."


(John) "Man ol Man, i swear i just almost had a heart attack." he joked.


(Jay) laughs 


(John) "So tell me Shawn" he said taking a sip of his drink "Whats been going on in your love life?"


(Jay) takes a sip of his drink "Oh man, i don't even know where to begin."


(John) "Your still with that one little gorgeous gal, what was her name.....Ashley?"


(Jay) chuckles "No. And Aaliyah. But no I'm not. She actually died, just last month."


(John) "Oh I'm sorry to hear that."


(Jay) "Yea" i said with a sad look "But i met someone else."


(John) "Ooooh did you now."


(Jay) "Yup" i said taking another sip "Her name is Beyonce and she's a model."


(John) "Ooh a model." he said making a face " How'd you find her?"


(Jay) "Through a mutual friend."


(John) "Oh okay, whelp I'm happy for you." he said placing his hand on my shoulder then patting my back. 


(Jay) "Thank you."


It gets quiet for a min.


(John) looking at his watch "I wish these assholes, hurry the hell up. I got things to do today."


(Jay) just looks at John and laughs.

About 15 mins later the rest of the crew was arriving. We sat and discussed for about 2 and 1/2 hours. After that, i met up with a few more people, then Ye. Ye and I was on our way out. I didn't know where he was going and what he had planned. All i know is that Ye, was gonna make sure i was going to have a good time, which is exactly what i need to get my mind of Bey selfish ass.


We arrived to the club and everybody was their. Dre, Puff, Ta Ta, TIP, Melo, Kobe, Wade, the whole crew. Seeing them made me ready to fool. I took a couple shots, going in. Headed straight to the bar, got me a drink, took the mic and got on stage, said a few words and made it VIP. Bottles, Champagne, glasses, gar's and blunts were flowing. I had me a buzz, and the vibe was right. 


(Ye)  "Aye Jay man" he said nudging me, almost spilling his drink. Ye had got fucked up. "We aint Club Amnesia right?" 


(Jay) "Yuuuuuuuup."


(Ye) laughing "You hitting the doubles 3's and all, thats a big time in a man's life, so on that note i don't want you to remember a got damn thing tomorrow maaaaaaaaan." he said in his smoky voice. 


And with being said, Ye signaled to a guy who came over in our section, with about 10 beautiful girls. This made lil Jay ready to go, but i couldn't do that to Bey. Especially not to some flsuy ass dancer. She's worth much more than that, but who says i can't have any fun. I had a few more drinks and the night was on.


***(Bey's POV)
Me, Kelly, Angie and Ty were on our way headed to the club. I couldn't wait to surprise Jay. I know he probably mad that he think i forgot his birthday, but i know when he see's me thats all gonna go away. We pulled up to the club and it was slapping already and we were already 2 hrs late. Well that because a girl like me has to arrive fashionably late. We got out the car, took a few picture and made our way inside. Ty and Angie drifted off together into the crowd, while Kelly and i went off into the crowd and met up with people we knew. Gabrielle was there, monica was there, mary j was there, La La was there, and even Gwyn as was there. Me and Kelly finally departed when we ran into Nell and he grab  ahold of her, so i just let them be. 


I made my way over to VIP. You could hear all the laughter and foolery that was going on. I knew Jay was enjoying himself. Now me, i was just the icing on the cake. I parted through the crowd a guys as they kind of stood around forming some type of weird circle. My excitement of seeing Jay was builder higher and higher the further I got into the crowd.


***(Jays POV)
My heart sunk like the titanic when i saw the look on Bey's face as she stood there watching as some chick grinded all over me. I damned near cried. I didnt know rather to jump up right away or try to play it off. But it was no hiding it. Im glad everyone was too drunk and too into themselves to realize what was going on. I jumped up quick as hell throwing that broad to the ground. The minute i got up Bey took off.


***(Bey's POV)
The look of discuss on my face when i saw Jay dancing with that fealthy tramp was to hard to ignore. I didnt know rather to snatch the bitch up or act out, my emotions were all over the place. Here i was coming to surprise him, but it was him who surprised me. I couldn't stand there much longer, i had to leave.


(Jay) yelling through the cry "BEY.......BEYONCE."


I was ignoring the hell out of Jay as he was calling me. I got outside all the the lights from the cameras, and people taking pictures, and shouting my name was making even more mad. I walked off through the crowd of people and press and headed down the street. I didn't know where to go or where i was going. I pulled out my phone to call for my car service to come, Jay was still following behind me.


(Jay) "Can you just slow up a min."


I was still ignoring Jay. I turned the corner of the first street that came up and Jay started running after Bey.


Jay catches up to Bey and grabs a hold of her, while he tries to catch his breath from running. But Bey was fighting back with him trying to get away.


(Bey) "Get off of me and let me go." i said as i hit him.


Jay wrestles with Bey for a min until she finally stops moving. Jay was holding Bey from behind so she wouldn't hit him.


(Bey) "Can you let me go Jay." i said as i begin to cry.


(Jay) "No, i want you to talk to me."


(Bey) "I don't want to talk to you, just let me go." i said as i snatched away from him and started walking off again. I had my phone in my head texting my driver where i was at.


(Jay) grabs Bey by the arm, but not to hurt her "Bey, just talk to me."


(Bey) just stops and looks at Jay, tears were flowing down her face.


(Jay) "Stop crying Bey...." he said trying to hug her "Baby what are you even doing here."


(Bey) "What do you mean what am i doing here?" i said snatching away from him again.


(Jay) exhales out of his nose "I didn't mean it like that, i thought you said you couldn't make it."


(Bey) "Well I'm here Jay" i sad beginning to yell.


(Jay) grabs Bey again to quiet her from yelling, and starts walking off down the street with her, still holding on to her.


(Bey) "I was coming to surprise you, you didn't actually think i would forget your birthday did you?" i said all mad.


(Jay) doesn't say anything.


(Bey) "Let me go, i can walk."


(Jay) lets her go.


(Bey) "I can't even stand to loo at you right now."


(Jay) "Look Bey, i had no idea you were coming and i had no idea Ye was even gonna have girls there."


(Bey) "So what you were mad and just wanted to make a point." i said beginning to raise my voice.


(Jay) "No thats not it. And why are you even tripping Bey, it's just a dance. You act like i was fucking her."


(Bey) gives Jay a death stare "Well you mind as well, yal practically were."


(Jay) doesn't say anything and Bey doesn't either.


(Bey) "Look Bey I'm just being real right now and you could take it how you want it, but I'm not about to apologize for being a man. Maybe that's still the young part about you. You don't know how to deal with grown people shit."


The minute those words left Jays lip, i gave him a hard ass smack across his face.


(Bey) "Bet your ass don't be thinking I'm young when i have you screaming out my name, now do you?"


(Jay) holding his face


(Bey) "Exactly."


Just then Bey's car starts pulling up.


(Jay) "Where you going?"


I didn't even answer Jay, i just walked straight to the car. I didn't even wait for Julius to open the door.


And before driving off i gave Jay a look that he would probably never see in his life again.
