CHP 41

RE-CAP: Jay and Bey are in full effect when it comes to working on things. Meanwhile Reggie is still messing with Kelly. Jay is released from jail, but he could be facing time, due to him violating his probation. 

(Chapter Mood Introduction)
It's been a lot thats been going from Bey to Jay, to Ms. Tina to Kelly, and from Sanaa to Tony.  All Bey wants to do and bring things to a piece, and what better way to do that then bring everyone together. Since being pregnant Bey has been planning how she was going to tell people she was pregnant, so she decided to have a get together with her close friends and family.

I was so excited. Today was the day i announce to everyone that I'm pregnant. I couldn't wait to spread the news. Here i was, blessed with this little bundle of Joy, and considering all that i've been going through, i needed some sort of happiness in my life. I had everything planned out. I was so ready for today. Sanaa and Karina had came over early to help Kelly, Solo, and myself set up. We had 2 hours until people would start arriving, and we were a little under halfway finished. 

(Bey) "Solo can you go check and make sure there are enough drinks in the cooler, make sure the liquor is separated from the cold drinks."

(Solo) "Okay..." she said, heading off to do her task. 

I then turned to Kelly to see what it was i could have her do.... "Kel..can you...can you..." i said beginning to think of something i could have her do "..Oh can you go make sure that the food is still staying warmer....make sure the warmers are still lit."

(Kelly) "Okay" she said heading of towards the kitchen. I was becoming nervous that something was going to go wrong. I paced around in the living room biting on my thumb nail. I just wanted so badly for things to turn out good. Sanaa must have sensed that i was nervous, because she came over to comfort me.

(Sanaa) "Karina..." she said to her who holding tissue paper looking clueless "...go in and help Solange for a minute, okay baby."

(Karina) "Ok..." she said seeming a little happy and relieved.

Sanaa started coming over towards me, i knew she was coming but i tried to pretend i didn't see her. I don't know why i was even nervous, i was going to be with the people i loved. People who cared about me no matter what, people who had my back no matter what, and people who kept it real with me no matter what. So what was i freaking out about for.

Sanaa came over by me as i sat down on the couch, pondering on things, deep into my thoughts. "You okay girl?" she said to me.

(Bey) "Yea, I'm fine..." i said in an unsure tone of voice.

(Sanaa) "Are you sure....you look a littles stressed."

(Bey) "Yea...its just i really want things to go right...I was just thinking about how things went when i first brought Jay around my family and how things turned out. And this will be the first time that his mom and my mom meet."

(Sanaa) begans to rub Bey's back to comfort her "Oh i see.." she said becoming mute for a minute, as she found some encouraging words to say "...But what can be bad about spreading the news of being pregnant, thats the most greatest gift god can give aside from finding someone to love."

I gave Sanaa a smile, letting her now i was thankful for her words, "Your so right..i guess its just my emotions getting me all worked up...i swear cuz being pregnant my emotions are all over the place."

(Sanaa) starts to chuckle "CH..i hear you..."

(Bey) laughing with Sanaa "Wait Sanaa...you were pregnant before?"

(Sanaa) "Yup...a couple years after Charles and I got married."

(Bey) "What happened?" i asked with concerned. But i could tell that after i asked, she began to feel some type of way, "OH Sanaa...im sorry...we don't have to if you don't want too." i said referring to her discussing what happened.

(Sanaa) "It's fine honey..." she began, then took a deep swallow as she began to talk "A couple years after Charles and I got married...i was pregnant..i went full term too, but the pregnancy was a still birth."

When Sanaa told me her pregnancy was still birth, i instantly began to feel for her. Although i didn't go full term, the miscarriage was still a hard pill to swallow. It took everything in me not to break out crying.

(Bey) "Sanaa" im so sorry to here that..." i finally managed to say.

(Sanaa) starts getting up, to do some more to distract her from crying "Thank you.." she said beginning to wipe down the coffee table "Things happen, but they happen for a reason...im just thankful have Karina to give all my love too. She's been a blessing that girl."

I got up off the couch to give Sanaa a hug. I just felt i had too. Here i am thinking i was the only one with fucked up situations, but it was Sanaa who had experienced some pretty messed up things in her life as well. In a way she and i were just alike. I had so much more respect for her as a woman and as a person.

(Bey) "Your are such a strong woman Sanaa..." i said after releasing from our hug. Sanaa smiled back at me.

(Sanaa) "Thats funny, cuz i say the same thing about you..." she said with a light chuckle.

The in walks Solo and Katrina, breaking Sanaa's and I intimate moment.

(Solo) "Aye Bey, we finished with the drinks in stuff...anything else you need us to do."

(Bey) "Just check the bathrooms, make sure they're cleaned and stocked with tissue, soap, and hand towels."

(Solo) "alright, come on Kari..." she said as they went off.

After Solo and Karina walked off i began to think about all the other things i had to do. I checked them off in my head as i thought about them, then all of a sudden it hit me "OMG THE CAKE..." I shouted aloud to myself.

I started searching for my keys and shoes "Damnit..." i said as i headed to the door.

(Sanaa) "Whats the matter?" she asked.

(Bey) "I forgot to pick up the cake..."

(Sanaa) "Oh damn, well do you want me to ride with you."

(Bey) "No, I got i---" i said getting smacked in the head my the door. "Ow MOTHER FUCKER..." I  said in pain stumbling back, holding my head, trying to catch my balance. It was stupid jay who was coming in the door, he also had the cake with him as well.

Jay walks in and sits the cake down on the table at the door and immediately goes to tend to Bey. "Oh shit Baby, are you okay..." he said helping her to sit down. They were sitting on the stairs.

(Bey) "Ahhh..." i said rocking holding my head, as if that were going to stop the pain. "...Ow and yea I'm okay."

(Jay) "Move you hand, let me see..." he said, as he gently touched my head. "Ohhh..." he said "..you got a little knot on your head."

(Bey) "Shit..." i said to myself "I figured i would, that door hit my head pretty hard." i said rubbing my head. 

Jay started getting up and heading towards the kitchen. "Stay here.." he said "i'll be right back, ima go get and ice pack."

(Bey) "Alright..." i said as i got up, completely ignoring Jay about staying seated. "Hey Sanaa..." i said calling to her "Can you come grab this cake for me?" 

Sanaa comes walking into the small hallway area of the front door "What happened?" she said as she began to pick up the cake.

(Bey) "I got hit in the head with the door, when Jay came in."

Sanaa makes a face as if she could feel my pain "Ouch, i know that had to of hurt.." she said as we began walking into the living room "So Jay went and got the cake huh?"

(Bey) "Yea..." 

Then here comes overprotective, overly dramatic Jay, "B, didn't i tell you to stay there..." he said as he altered the ice pack to place it on my head. The way he was acting you would have think i was going into a coma.

(Bey) "Yea, i know but i didn't want to sit on them stairs, it was becoming uncomfortable."

(Sanaa) "Im gonna go check on the girls and see what they're doing?"

(Bey and Jay) "alright."

Jay props Bey back on the couch and elevates her feet "Here.." he said handing her some tylenol and a glass of water. "Take this, it'll prevent you from having a headache."

I grabbed the pills and took them, then laid back on the couch with my head back, holding the ice pack on my knot.

(Jay) "Im gonna go upstairs and take a shower and start getting ready..if you need anything let me know." he said kissing me in the head and rubbing my stomach. Jay loves that I'm pregnant, he's probable more excited then me. "Oh yea...i meant to ask you, what did you eat today."

I started thinking about what i ate today, because i knew if i told him nothing, he would flip out. "I ate some cereal, earlier...and a little bit of the food for later. Why?"

(Jay) "Because i wanna make sure you and the baby are getting all the nutrients you need, especially baby girl...i just really want you to have a healthy pregnancy."

(Bey) "I know you do Jay and i've been akin all my vitamins, and prenatal pills, i may eat a doughnut to two here and there, but i been eating good."

(Jay) "Okay..." he said kissing me again "But i still brought you something to eat, i left it in the car though because i didn't want to risk dropping the cake."

(Bey) "Ohh what ya get?" i said super excited.

(Jay) "Some baked chicken, mixed veggies, stir fry something... uhh idk something like that...i just know it was healthy." he said beginning to get up.

(Bey) "You about to go get it."

(Jay) "yea, i'll be right back.." he said then headed out the door.

I waited 2 mins for Jay to bring back the food. Although i was hoping for some deep fried, greasy, finger licking soul food...the baked chicken dinner was actually quite good. I ate my food while Jay went on the take a shower and get ready, then it hit me Kelly was taking too ling to check on those warmers so i decided to go spy on her and see what she was doing.

(Bey) "AH-HA!" i said walking in on Kelly with a plate full of food. She had made her a meal out of all the entree's. "I knew i shouldn't have let you come in here with the food." i said playfully. Kelly's greedy ass is a;ways trying to eat some shit up.

Kelly was sitting at the counter, with BBQ sauce smeared all across her face. She had stopped eating and looked at me with a guilty look on her face that she had been caught. "Well excuuuuuuse me honey...i was hungry...i couldn't wait much longer." she said then continued eating.

(Bey) laughing "Fatty..." i teased "But that shit good as hell huh?" i said going to sit next to her.

(Kelly) "Hell yea, who made it...you?" she teased back.

I gave Kelly a very blank look because she knows damn well i cant cook. "Now you know I'm the last person to be asking did i cook something..." i said as we shared in laughter.

(Kelly) "Hey you never know, i just thought that maybe you learned something new..." she said still teasing me.

(Bey) "Yea keep laughing...you gonna laugh you butt right into the hospital after i shove that chicken bone down your throat."

(Kelly) falls out laughing "Whew Bey, you are too funny.. i can't take you seriously."

And Kelly and I spent the next few moments in the kitchen joking around with each other, until Jay came down ruining everything, rushing us to go get ready. It was now 30 mins until people were gonna start arriving and between me, kelly, sanaa, solo, and karina who still had to get ready. It only seemed i was going to be late to my own party. After showering and freshening up, i put on my outfit Jay picked out for me. His corny self wanted us to match, so he went out and bought us something. And being that i was growing out of my old things...i was in desperate need of some new clothes.

I was still getting ready by the time people arrived I could everyone as they came in, from Gwen and Chris, Ye and Amber, my mom, Angie, Ty, Gloria and Jay's sisters, Michelle, and Alicia. Everyone was growing impatient as time went on and there was still no sign of me. I heard my mom tell Jay "Im gonna go snatch her out that room and she's not down here in the next 2 sec's." then Jay replied "Okay mom, just chill...im gonna go up and check on her." But it wasn't my fault Jay decided to bust through the door and crack me upside my head. Well not purposely but still. I was trying to find a suitable hairstyle to cover it. Finally i decided to pull in up into a messy bun with some bangs and just as i was walking out the bathroom Jay was coming, almost hitting me with the door again.

(Bey) "Got damn Jay...you tryna kill me today or something?" i joked.

(Jay) laughing "Maybe..." he playfully joked with me, then started fighting with me for a minute.

(Bey) "Okay, okay stop..." i said beginning to get annoyed "Your making my head hurt."

(Jay) "Alright..." he said stopping "You ready though, I'm pretty sure your mom is going to be coming up here in a minute." he joked.

(Bey) "Yea, I'm ready..." i said grabbing my pouch "And if you wouldnt have smacked me with the door, i could have been ready a long time ago." i said with a slight attitude.

Jay was giving Bey that look like whats her deal. He didn't know why she was snapping on him all of a sudden. "Aye.." he said pulling Bey by the arm as she began to walk out "You mad at me or something?"

I felt bad for snapping on Jay, i was just frustrated by the whole day and I was just taking it out on him. Man these man swings can kiss my ass for real. "No baby..." i said turning around to him, assuring him that i was in a good mood "No I'm not mad at you..." i said planting a kiss on his sweet soft juicy lips "Come on lets go downstairs, I'm ready to party." i said grabbing him by the hand leading him downstairs.

We got downstairs and i made my way around to everyone greeting them and chopping it up. It felt so good to be around my loved ones, the whole energy and vibe o the night was very warm feeling. I knew it was going to be a good night. No one caught on though to me being pregnant because my shirt wasn't that revealing to my stomach. After making it around to everyone and getting in a few good moments, i decided it was time to tell everyone the real reason why i called them al together.

I started tapping on a glass to get everyones attention and draw them all too me. Jay stood along side of me as everyone gathered around with confused looks on there faces. The excitement grew with the closer i came to telling everyone my wonderful news.

(Bey) "I know you all are probably wondering why i called you all here together..." i said looking around to everyone, then Jay who placed a kiss upon my cheek. I can tell he was ready, happy, and excited too. "Well as you know Jay and I have been together for a while now and over the time we spent together...we have both grown to love each other more than ever...." i said as Jay and i came together wrapping our arms around each other's back as we stood side by side.

(Jay) "And well....." he said looking over at me, trying to get me to get straight to the point.

(Gloria) "Well what? Do yal think we read minds or something?" she said laughing, along with everyone else.

(Jay) "Ma...chill." he said to her.

(Gloria) "Well yal need to get to the point and stop beating around the bush."

(Ms. Tina) "Im with Gloria on that..."she said as they high fixed each other. i was happy to see that they were getting along.

(Everyone else) "Right...."

(Jay) "Just go ahead and tell them baby..." he whispered to me.

(Bey) "Well i was trying to give a speech, but since people want to get impatient..." i teased to my mom and Gloria "I guess i'll go right out and say it.....WE"RE HAVING A BABY." i yelled ion excitement.

There was a lot of cheering applauding, Gloria and my mom were the first to come over and congratulate us.

(Bey) "Hold on now...." i said stopping everyone before they bombarded me and Jay "Thats not all."

(Evryone else) "It's not...."

(Bey) "NOPE...." i said holding my stomach and grabbing on to Jay's hand. Jay didn't know this but i had secretly reaccepted his proposal and with us trying to build upon a fresh start, i figured why not start off on a new leaf the right way and start our family the right way. I pulled out my pocket a ring, i secretly had Alicia make for Jay so that i could propose to him this time around. I know it sounds crazy, but hey I'm crazy in love.

I turned to Jay as he looked at me completely clueless and confused "As some of you may know.....3 months ago Jay had proposed to me and although i had accepted, i later on declined due to my insecurities." I looked around to everyone who was giving off a look of shock, they all seems very surprised because they didn't know all what was going on between Jay and I. 

(Bey) "Today is also Jay's and I 10th month anniversary...And i can't think of nobody in this world who i would had spent those 10 months with and going through all that we have went through."  I started getting down on one knee, i don't why i did because it hurt like hell trying to get back up, but i wanted to show Jay how much i cared about him.

Jays starts laughing "B, what are you doing?"

(Bey) "What does it look like.." i replied "Jay didn't know this, but i secretly had Alicia customize me a ring for Jay...and well since everyone catches my drift...i guess i just go ahead and ask that question....Jay, i mean Mr. SHAWN COREY CARTER?" I  said in my sexy voice "Do you mind if i become you Misses?" i asked.

Jay pulled me up off the ground, dang near snatching me up and said to me "You crazy as hell you know that...." he said smiling hard.

(Bey) "Yea i know....but you still didn't answer my question mister." i joked.

Then Jay looked at me with a devious look in his face, and gave off a look that he was thinking then finally said "No, i don't mind."

And with that being said, Jay kissed me, and he kissed me, and he kissed me again until Gloria and my mom broke us apart. I laughed when i heard Jay's response because thats what i told him when he proposed to me. Everyone crowded in between us, congratulating btw me and Jay. The moment felt so right, i felt so happy and no one or nothing was going to steal my joy.  Jay and Bey were officially back at it again, but this time around things were going to be so much better!!!!!!!

CHP 40 Where it All Began

RE-CAP: Bey and Jay are still working on things. Meanwhile Kelly shows up to Bey's house, beat up and bruised up. Jay leaves off and goes and beats the hell out of Reggie. On the way to taking Kelly to the hospital, they are pulled over and Jay is arrested.

(Chapter Mood Introduction)
Bey and Solo are at the hospital waiting for Kelly to recover. Meanwhile Jay is sitting in jail. Bey has sent Sanaa to go check on Jay while she stays with Kelly. Bey called her mom letting her know what happened. When Sanaa arrives to the precinct she finds Shelly there and is instantly on guard about her.

***(Sanaa's POV)
When i saw Shelly down at the precinct standing by the window, i became filled with disgust. I wanted to pounce on her. I know exactly how Beyoncé is feeling and all that she is going through. I've dealt with it all with Charles. I also see Bey as a little sister and i care about her a lot as a person. 

(Sanaa) "What are you doing here?" i said with an attitude.

(Shelly) turns around "Oh it's you...."

(Sanaa) steps up to Shelly "Your damn right its me, and you still haven't answered my question."

(Shelly) gives Sanaa a look "I recieved a call from JAY...HIMSELF, asking if i could come down here, so here i am." starts looking around "And what are you doing here? Where's the Mrs?" she said getting all snooty.

(Sanaa) "Don't worry about where the fuck Bey is, OKAY. Im here now so you can leave." i said pointing to the door. 

(Shelly) "Ha, funny thing is i don't take order from NO ONE...JAY wanted me here so I'm here, either deal with it or do something about it."

(Sanaa) "BIT----" but before i could get my word out we were interrupted by the police.

(OFFICER) "CARTER..." he yelled out "...Are one of you here for Mr. Carter."

(Shelly) "I...--"

Sanaa moves in front of Shelly and cuts her off "Yes, I'm here for Mr. Carter."

(OFFICER) signals her to come near "And what is your relationship with Mr. Carter?"

(Sanaa) "Sister, I'm his sister...." i said.

Then all of a sudden in walks this lady.....

(Woman) "Hello, i'm District Attorney Regina King, and Im here about my client Shawn Carter."

(OFFICER) "Yes, you two.." he said referring to me and his lawyer "..Right this way."

And there we went off to the back to see Jay, leaving Shelly out in the lobby looking stupid.

***(MEANWHILE BACK WITH BEY)

We were at the hospital for over several hours with Kelly until they finally released her. They gave her stitches for the gash she had on her head and prescribed her with some pain killers for the pain. We made it back to my place where i had Kelly come and stay so that i could watch over her. I then tried calling Sanaa to see to latest with Jay but she wasn't responding, i figured they were still caught up at the precinct. A couple hours had passed, it was only noon. I had spent the night at the hospital with Kelly, while Jay spent his night in prison. I couldn't do anything but pray for Kelly's health and Jays' freedom. I set on the couch trying to eat something being that i didn't eat all night, and i knew baby girl was hungry. But i was too distraught to eat. I felt a little better when Kelly finally managed to awake, at least now i know for sure she was okay.

(Bey) "Hey there my girl...how are you feeling?" i said moving over on the couch to make room for her to sit down. 

(Kelly) "Hey.." she said very low and dryly.

(Bey) "How are you feeling?"

(Kelly) "Im feeling alright....i mean i have a banging headache and my jaw and a little sore, but I'm cool..." she said as she sat down. "How is Jay, have you heard anything from him?"

(Bey) "Nope, still not yet."

(Kelly) sighs "Im so sorry Bey, if i would have showed up last night none of this wouldnt have happened." she said feeling bad.

(Bey) "OMG Kel, don't talk like that." i said as i hugged on to her "Your safety and well being in our main concern. Jay loves you like you were his own sister....he was just looking out for you thats all."

(Kelly) "I know but i just feel so bad...."

(Bey) "Dont...im pretty sure Sanaa is down there taking care of things."

(Kelly) "Your right.." she said cracking a smile "..So missy.." she began "...So what are we having?" she said as she began rubbing my stomach.

(Bey) giggles "A little girl...."

(Kelly) "Omg Bey..." she said tickling my stomach "..I can't to have her I'm so excited." she said sounding like herself again.

(Bey) "Uhm but excuse me, I'm the one who's having her.." i teased "..while your lucky as get to stand around and watch." i teased.

(Kelly) laughs "Right cuz uhhh honey....i don't think i could even deal." she said as we both broke out laughing.

Then all of a sudden there was a lot of commotion at the door. Kelly and I both turned around to see who it was coming through the door and in walks Sanaa and Jay. I ran to him, yet again. Leaping on him and hugging him tightly. I never wanted to let him go. 

(Jay) lets go of  Bey and stares off at Kelly "Hey Kel, how are you feeling?"

(Kelly) goes and hugs Jay "Much better now that i know you are okay...." playfully pushes Jay "Gosh Jay what were you thinking?"

(Jay) "I wasn't....and i also wasn't going to let him get away with what he did."

(Kelly) "Well i appreciate you for that.......really i do."

(Jay) "No problem....like i told you before, your like my sis. We have to look out for one another."

(Kelly) just smiles

(Sanaa) "Well alright.." she said cutting in "...Im gonna go into the kitchen an hook us all up something good to eat."

Everyone just laughs at Sanaa's outburst, but nodds in agreement to her cooking.

(Kelly) "Well I'm gonna go upstairs and get cleaned up, Bey do you have something i can put on until i go home and get some more."

(Bey) "Yea, come on....ima go up and get showered too, it's been a long night."

(Jay) "alright, well I'm gonna go into the living room and watch a little tv."

Bey and Kelly went upstairs to get showered. Meanwhile Sanaa was off in the kitchen cooking. Jay was feeling thirsty so he went into the kitchen to get him a beer, and began to notice Sanaa was giving him the cold shoulder.

(Jay) "Don't tell me your mad at me again?"

(Sanaa) "How about more so disappointed."

(Jay) "Well what was i suppose to do, i couldn't drag B from the hospital away from Kelly, and I didn't really think to call no one else."

(Sanaa) "So you called her."

(Jay) "Well yea...i needed her to make a few calls for me to my lawyers and what not, and since she was the only one at the time who i knew had access to that i had to call her."

(Sanaa) "But i thought you fired her...?"

(Jay) "I did, but she was still able to do so because of her experience from working with me."

(Sanaa) "Hmp!"

(Jay) "And whats that suppose to mean?"

(Sanaa) "Im just saying Shawn, your lack of not thinking clearly has been leading you into a world of trouble and I'm saying this too you because i care about you...you like a brother even though what happened happened between us...you just have to be more cautious of the things you do. Your a good person, i just want people to see that."

(Jay) "Your right and i appreciate your words of wisdom. Im also happy that you think of me as your brother...because in a way you are like my sister, your also a very good friend, to both Bey and myself..."

(Sanaa) "Well as long as you are not messing around I'm fine...but you do need to work on that temper of your, have you ever heard of the saying you have to pick and choose your battles..."

(Jay) "Yeah..."

(Sanaa) "Well you need to work on that....cuz i don't wanna see you in anymore trouble!"

(Jay) chuckles "Well OK!"

(Sanaa) "Alright, now get on out this kitchen so that i can finish cooking."

(Jay) "I sure will, I'm hungry as a bitch."

(Sanaa) laughs at Jay "You are crazy....BYE SHAWN." she joked.

After showering, i went to check on Solo to see how she was holding up and dealing with everything. And surprisingly she was taking it quite well. We sat in her room and talked about things for a few moments, until Sanaa was done cooking. Kelly, Jay, and Sanaa, were already seated at the table. It was going on 3, around the same time Karina would be getting out of school. I called for Julius to pick her up, with all thats been going on.

We our gathered around at the table getting ready to feast on Sanaa chicken wings, potatoes skins, caesar salad, and the chocolate fudge cake she made. Wow, this chick wasn't playing around, i thought. I could feel baby girl start to cut up in my stomach as if she knew she was about to eat.

(Sanaa) "So Bey..." she said getting my attention as i rubbed my tummy "..What are you having?"

(Bey) "Well.." i said excitedly as i looked at Jay "..We're having a girl."

(Sanaa) "Oh lord, do we really need another girl." she playfully said.

(Bey) "Right...im trying to tell you....LORD HAVE MERCY.." I began to joke "..Besides Ye and Ty....my poor Jay is surrounded by girls." i teased.

(Everyone) starts laughing.

(Jay) "It's okay, cuz after we have baby girl and we get married....we're gonna to have a a little boy."

(Bey) "Oh you got me fucked...if you think i plan on pushing out another baby...you better hope there's an extra inside of here because hooooooooooooneyyyyyyyyy!!!"

(Jay) chuckles "Oh whatever, I'm gonna get me a boy." he playfully demanded.

(Bey) "So Sanaa, how has things been with you and M O R R I S?"

(Sanaa) starts blushing "Thins are.." she said starting to think "..Things are going good."

(Bey) "Have you guys made it to that level yet?" i said being nosy.

(Kelly) "OMG BEY, YOU SICKO."

(Jay) "Really B.." 

(Solo) burst out laughing.

(Sanaa) "Gosh nosy....and im not gonna speak about that with Solo in the room, we'll save that convo for later."

(Bey) laughing "ok, ok....."

After our nice little meal we all set around chilling, laughing, and just having fun. Karina finally made it home and when she did her and Sanaa dipped off. Kelly and I talked about her staying with me until the whole Reggie thing was straighten out. She and I were on our way to her house to grab a few of her things. When we arrived to Kelly's house we both were a little nervous. We had no idea if Reggie was stalking the house or what. But if he was, i had Jay's gun and Jay on speed dial. 

When walked inside the house and found that it had been trashed from top to bottom. I mean her sofa was tore up, lamps were broken, glass was everywhere, and on her wall they had spray painted If i can't have you, no one will. Kelly and I immediately became scared and frightened. So i called the police. In the meantime, while we waited for them to come, I helped Kelly gather up the her things that weren't destroyed. Once the police got there, Kelly wrote them a statement about her and Reggie's relationship, and what he did to her house, where she also pressed charges and put out a restraining order against him. 

After leaving from Kelly's and having to go down to the precinct to file the charges and restraining order. We headed back to the house. When we got in, Jay was all frantic like and all worked up because he was worried something might had happen to us because of the amount of time we were gone.

(Bey) "Jay calm down, where fine."

(Kelly) "Yea, we just had to go to the precinct and file charges against Reggie and put out a restraining order..."

(Bey) "Thats why it took so long."

(Jay) starts to calm down a little "Okay." he said as he went and set down.

I began to observe Jay and watch him, as he seemed to be a little uneasy at the moment. I could tell it was something on his mind. I looked over at Kelly, giving her that look to give Jay and I some privacy, and from there she headed upstairs and i made my way over to Jay. He was sitting on the edge of the couch rocking, deep into his thoughts as if he a something heavy on his mind, and i wanted to know.

(Bey) "Jay...is everything okay...you seem a little...ehhh."

(Jay) "Im just thinking B, thats all..." he said as he frustratedly rubbed his head.

(Bey) "Well the only way for you to get through it is for you and i to communicate, remember?..." i said reminding him "...So come on, talk to me."

(Jay) takes a deep sigh "Well after you and Kelly left...i recieved a call from my lawyer.."

(Bey) "Ok and...."

(Jay) "Well when they let me go the first time, it was due to insufficient evidence...And well..."

(Bey) "Jay im not a mind reader ok....just say what you have to say..." i said becoming aggravated.

(Jay) "Well now they're saying they have witnesses saying that i was there, and they saw everything...and if so...then that would lead to a violation of my probation and i might have to face some time."

I set quiet for a minute, as i took in all what Jay had said. I wanted to gather my thoughts and my words properly before giving him any advice.

(Bey) "Well Jay....you can't say that you couldn't see this coming..." i began "...I mean look at what you were charged with the first time...ATTMEPT TO MURDER, and now your in trouble for beating a man halfway to death."

(Jay) "Well thanks for being so sympathetic..." he said sound like he was upset.

(Bey) "Well if you expect me to lie to you and tell you everything is going to be ok, WELL IM NOT. You are accountable for your own actions...and little do you know, your actions not only effect you but the people around you...."

Jay just set the with a stupid look on his face because he knew what Bey was saying was right.

(Bey) "It's no longer just the JAY SHOW anymore. You have me and you have baby girl to think about. So why you wanna go around and react off of everything little thing go ahead and be my guess, because i can tell you...all you are going to do is lead us to a world of trouble."

(Jay) "Well everyone can't be perfect like you Beyoncé!"

(Bey) "Oh baby, if you think I'm perfect...ch you thought wrong...im far from it. I understand that people make mistakes but you have to own up to them. FACE THEM and DEAL WITH THEM. But know that if you want better you must do better."

(Jay) deep sighs "But it's just not that easy when you've been this way for so long."

(Bey) "Well you should be lucky...you have someone like ME, who's willing to put up with you. I knew from day one, when i saw you, the type of guy you were. But that didn't stop me from being with you...it was who you are on the inside that made me want to be with you, and is the REASON why IM STILL HERE TODAY!"

Jay turns head head away in shame.

(Bey) turns Jay's head back around "Look at me..." i said very sweetly "...To me time doesn't mean anything....it's the effort that is put forth to show that you care and despite our ups and downs...i know all the good our relationship has brought. So you can go ahead and feel sorry for your self, but I'm not. If its one thing that i learned from you, thats too deal with things head on and handle my responsibilities as a WOMAN.....and Jay you are my man so i need you to act like it...You need me just as much as i need you...."

Jay just stares at Bey very hard, soaking in all that she is saying.

(Bey) "So here's what we can do..." i began "...Take all that we have experienced in these last 7 months and leave them where they are. Where just gonna put that all behind us...."

(Jay) "So what are you saying B?"

(Bey) "Lets start over...lets make a clean start....We got baby girl to think about....and if I'm bringing a child into this world, you and i have to have a strong solid foundation to build upon...because i don't want my baby caught up in any mess."

(Jay) "I..I....I don't know what to say...." he said stuttering "...Im just speechless right now......I swear at times i feel i not deserve you, you are just too good to me, especially after all that i put you through."

(Bey) "Thats because in real true love, you see the light in everything....and all that other nonsense doesn't matter. The way i feel for you.....i don't think i could ever feel like this for another man...I believe Jay that you and i were meant for each other...because when i go back and look and see how everything played out...i can see that it was only for the best."

And when i said that, i swear on everything i never knew Jay cried or even could cry. He was always so hard and tough all the time. When i saw that one little tear fall from his eye,   i knew right then and there he finally got all that i had been saying to him and that things were going to change from here on out.

CHP39 where it all began

RE-CAP: Sinaa found out about Jay and Shelly and demanded that he tells Bey, before she does. Meanwhile Bey comes into contact with Shelly but they have no clue who each is. Bey finds out that Reggie was beating Kelly. And Jay finally confesses to Bey, about him and Shelly.


(Chapter Mood Introduction)
It's been a week since Bey found out about Jay and Shelly, and although she's hiding her true anger, she is still dealing with it. Jay on the other hand has fired Shelly and went to get his test done like Bey said. Jay's been walking on egg shells with Bey. She was now just 4 months. Bey coming into the first stage of her 2nd trimester has caused her to be very emotional, especially now that she has a nice firm baby bump. So from time to time she just lashes out on Jay out her frequent mood swings. Bey's also looking for extra help around the house, being that she preparing early for the arrival of the baby. Also they've been planing a get together for there friends and family to announce the news of their pregnancy.

Jay and I were driving in there car....well he was driving i was riding shot gun. It was hot as hell, my stomach was cramping bad, i was hungry, and on top of that i had been riding around in this car for over 2 hours. On top of that i get car sick. My tolerance level was at it's max, and i was highly irritated. 

(Bey) "Got damn Jay..." i said extremely irritated "Where are you going?"

(Jay) "I thought you said you were hungry...." 

(Bey) "I am..."

(Jay) "Well I'm trying to find a place where we can eat."

(Bey) "All these foo---" starts gagging "JAY PULL OVER QUICK." i managed to get out.

But i didn't even wait long enough for him to pull over, i just opened the door as i threw up on the side. Finally we had pulled over. Jay got out the car and came around to my side to help me out.

(Jay) "Are you okay?"

(Bey) in a nice mood "Yea...im just a little noxious from being in the car too long thats all."

(Jay) grabs Bey hand and lock the doors to the car "Well come on lets, walk around for a minute, and maybe even stop in one of these joints they got to eat."

(Bey) "Okay..." i said and follow along side of Jay.

Jay and I walked around for a couple of blocks, i was really enjoying the fresh air and Jay's company. Even though i was just fussing at him in the car. We walked in silence, as we strolled down the sidewalks, holding hands. My mood was much more relax now. We walked a good 10 minutes until we found a nice diner, i honestly could have cared less where we ate, as long as i got me something to eat.

No sooner after we seated, the waiter came over to take our order, Jay didn't order anything, but me on the other hand i ordered just about the whole menu, while Jay just sat there and watched me eat.

(Jay) chuckles at Bey 

(Bey) gives Jay a look "WHAT?" I said with my mouth full of food.

(Jay) "Nothing...your just so cute...with you big little belly and all."

(Bey) smirks and rolls her eyes then continue to eat.

As much as i wanted to laugh, i held it in. I didn't want things to be too comfortable with Jay and I just yet, i mean it's only been a week, i still want him to suffer.

(Jay) "Are you ever gonna fully forgive me for what i did?"

(Bey) stops eating "Maybe some time in the future, but right now I'm still dealing with it. I mean it's only been a week...And although i agreed to work things out...it's still bothers me that it happened."

(Jay) sighs "Yea i understand ...."

(Bey) puts her fork down and sits back in her chair and gives Jay a death stare "I been wanting to ask you something that's been on my mind....and i just gotta know."

(Jay) "And whats that?" i asked nervously.

(Bey) takes a deep breath "How many times...i mean like was it just a hit and quick or was it just and occasional dip in."

(Jay) deep sighs "D...Do you really want to know, i mean does it even matter."

(Bey) "Yes actually it does!" i said with a sharp tone.

(Jay) gets a little agitated "I don't know off hand Bey...it was never really just planned, it was like when we were together things just happened."

(Bey) just sits there rolling her eyes "So how long was this going on?"

(Jay) "A couple of weeks before you came back..."

(Bey) "Slams her fist down on the table really hard."

(Jay) "B!..." he said "Why keep asking all these questions if all you are going to do is just get so worked up."

(Bey) "BECAUSE JAY....i have to know."

(Jay) "Well i honestly don't want to keep talking about it...i mean i messed up what more can i do. I told you i was sorry and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get us back how we were, but I'm not going to keep walking on egg shells with you..."

(Bey) "Well ma---" she tried cutting in.

(Jay) interrupts Bey "No let me finish...." he said a little upset "You took me back for a reason, and I'm sure that reason is not to make me feel guilty for what i did every chance you get. If you love me, and you wanna continue to love me....go right ahead so we can make this thing work...otherwise i honestly don't see us working out."

(Bey) starts crying "Well what do you want me to do when every man i have ever loved has fucked me over, started with Tony, you, and my dad...."

(Jay) gets a confused look on his face "Your dad?"

(Bey) "Thats right, my own father, after 23 years of marriage he goes and cheat on my mom for some random, low class bitch. And here i am trying to be the best girlfriend, but i can't because of the insecurities i faced from BEING FUCKED OVER TOO MANY TIMES!!!!!"

                (Jays Thoughts)
Damn it all finally hit me, why B is the way she is. And 7 months ago when we go together, not once did she ever think i would be like the guy i am today. How could i be so blind to her feelings and her emotions, that i'd go and screw things up even more for her. If i love B, like i say i love her, then it's time i start showing her. Show her that i am the man she knows me to be, show her i can be the man she wants and needs me to be. Because at the end of the day B is all i ever want and need. And i'll do anything to regain her love and trust again.

(Jay) reaches out and grabs Bey's hand 
"Look B...I know i hurt you in the most worst way, because for once in your life you actually believed in something good...and all i did was prove you wrong...but i want you to know that no matter what i will not give up on us...if you want to be with me and if you love me, then you don't give up on us either. B what you and I share is something so rare and special... " starts touching Bey's stomach  "...and this right here is us, it's what we created...Now are you with us or are you against us because right now I'm feeling all i need in this life of sin is me and my girlfriend..."  he said beginning to sing him and Bey's song. "And i don't care what anybody think of me or says because I'm gonna continue to fight for us..."

Bey looks at up at Jay as if she was seeing him for the first time, she was feeling all the realness and sincerity she felt the moment when she first laid eyes on Jay. This guy here was the guy she fell in love with. And at that moment she knew that the spark was still there.

(Bey) starts singing "Down to ride to the very end is me and my boyfriend..." i said cracking a smile.

(Jay) grabs Bey by the face and kisses her "I love you Beyonce Knowles...."

(Bey) "I love you Shawn Carter."

After our meal, Jay and I headed home. I knew that in my heart that things will get better between Jay and I, and with our little princess growing bigger and bigger by the day, we know that we are going to have to work together for the sake of our child. That mean we are doing to have to agree to disagree when it comes to things or simply learn how to deal with one another. 

Back at the house, Jay didn't want me to do anything but relax. He ran me up a nice hot bubble bath, cooked me my favorite salad (he wants me to eat healthy), and gave me a full out body massage from head to toe.  I was just laid up in bed, as i was propped up by the pillows just relaxing. And Jay was making sure, i was tended too.

(Jay) standing in the doorway of the room "You need me to get you anything, while I'm down stairs..water, snack, magazine...anything?"

(Bey) "No Jay...im fine...you did enough. You go ahead and relax, go watch the game or something."

(Jay) "Are you sure babe?"

(Bey) "Yes I'm sure....now shoo before you start urking my nerves with all this smothering your doing?" i said playfully.

(Jay) chuckles "Alright, Alright....i just wanna make sure your all good."

(Bey) "Yes baby, I'm fine for the millionth time."

(Jay) "Alright.." he said "..well I'm about to head downstairs."

(Bey) "Okay..." i said picking up my phone as it began to ring.

(Jay) "Love you...."starts walking out.

(Bey) "I love you too."

***(PHONE CONVO)

(Bey) picks up the phone "Hello..." i said, not knowing who it was calling.

(Person) "Hey there darling, how are you doing?"

(Bey) "Hi, and I'm doing fine..." i said still not catching on to the voice.

(Person) "It's been a while....last time i see---"

(Bey) "Wait, I'm sorry who is this?" i said finally asking who it was i was talking too.

(Person) "It's me....Gloria...Shawn's mom."

(Bey) "Ohhh Gloooooria, how are you?.." i said putting my happy voice on "I had no idea this was you."

(Gloria) "Im good. And i've been meaning to call you, i haven't spoken to you in a while..." she said.

(Bey) "Yea i know and I'm sorry i've been so busy...."

(Gloria) "Oh no i understand. I had spoke with Jay a few weeks ago and he had gave me your number because i had been meaning to call you."

(Bey) "Well I'm glad you did because i've been wanting to talk to you about something."

(Gloria) "Oh sure things baby..."

(Bey) "Well Jay and i are hosting this get together at the house and we would love for you and the rest of the fam to come out."

(Gloria) "Oh okay, and when is this now?"

(Bey) "On the 12th, just a little over a week from now."

(Gloria) "Well i would be delighted to come. I'm glad to see that you and Jay are still hanging in there."

(Bey) "Yea, well..."

(Gloria) starts chuckling "I know things don't always go so easy, but love conquers all just remember that."

(Bey) "Aw thanks Gloria, i appreciate your words of wisdom."

(Gloria) "Oh please, call me mom."

(Bey) chuckles "Alright....MOOOOOOM" i said putting a lot of emphasis on mom.

(Gloria) "Okay, love you..see you soon and take care."

(Bey) "Thanks, love you too and you do the same."

After getting off the phone with Gloria, i began to think a lot about what she was saying. I then began to think about my mom and dads relationship, as del as Kelly's,  Gwyn's, and mines. I also began to realize that i couldn't compare my situation with any one else's because we all have our different interpretation and things. And if i was going to be with Jay it was because i wanted to be, not because of what any one else says. But it wasn't long before my thoughts were interrupted by another phone call. This time it was my mother.


***(PHONE CONVO)

(BEY) "Hey mama...how you been?"

(MS.TINA) "Hey baby...and I'm fine. I haven't talked to you in a while...how are things with you and Jay..."

(BEY) "Things are....well we're working things out, I just find out while we were on our break he went and fucked some girl..." i said forgetting i was talking to my mom.

(MS. TINA) "First off language....Second off a BREAK, baby don't you know thats just giving him a lead way to go off an do something....and Thirdly....im glad you too are able to work things out....I actually like Jay and I hope one day he could be my future son in law."

(BEY) chuckles "I know ma, and I'm sorry. But thats funny that you said that because just a couple months ago he proposed."

(MS. TINA) "Oh and I guess you just wasn't going to tell your mother, huh?" she said, she seemed like she was in a good mood.

(BEY) "Well i was until, i took it back."

(MS. TINA) "What you mean you took it back?" she said sounding all disappointed.

(BEY) "Exactly what i said, TOOK IT BACK." i said speaking loud and slowly making sure she heard right.

(MS. TINA) "If i taught you anything, it's too follow your heart and don't be scared to take any chances. To hell with what you've been through. We've all been through things, you just have to learn not to harbor on to those old feelings."

(BEY) "I know ma, I know. But i don't want to talk about...how are things with you and .....ugh my father?"

(MS. TINA) "Things are coming around. We've been in counseling these past couple of months."

(BEY) "I can't believe these men we have to deal with..."

(MS. TINA) "I hear you honey....Men, you can't live with them and yo---"

(BEY) finishes her moms  sentence "You can't live with out them."

(MS. TINA) starts chuckling "Yes indeed..."

(BEY) "Oh mommy, while i have you on the phone before i forget..." i start off "Jay and I are having a get together with all our close family and friends....and well i was just wondering if you could make it."

(MS. TINA) ""Oh of course baby, you know i'll be there. But idk if your father will."

(BEY) "Well i could care less if he comes or not."

(MS. TINA) "Bey he's still your father..."

(BEY) "And....."

(MS. TINA) "Well i can see your getting all worked up, so I'm just go ahead and leave it alone. Where's Solange?"

(BEY) "She's at the studio..."

(MS. TINA) "Well you have her call me and ima go ahead and let you get back to what you are doing."

(BEY) "Alright mommy...i love you."

(MS. TINA) "Love you too baby." she said then hung up.

After getting off the phone, i went off to look for Jay. I was feeling lonely in the room by myself and with my mama and Gloria both calling me back to bad seems odd to me. And both of them telling me things in regards to my relationship is really blowing my mind. i got downstairs and found Jay passed out on the couch. The game was still on. Aw my baby was tired, i thought to myself.

(BEY) shakes Jay and whispers  "Jay....Jay....JAY..." i said finally getting him up "...Get up baby, come on...lets go get in bed."

(Jay) yawns and starts stretching out "Ahhhhh man, i can't believe i dosed off." he said beginning to stand up.

(BEY) "Yea, i know..." grabs ahold of Jay and helps him up "...Now come on...so we can get ready for bed."

(Jay) "Where's Solo, did she make it home yet."

(Bey) "No, she told me last night that she was staying over Sanaa's tonight."

(Jay) starts heading upstairs "Oh alright."

KNOCK< KNOCK< KNOCK

As Jay and I was heading up the stairs, we heard a knock at the door. But the way they were knocking, they were pounding. It was either the police or somebody just trying to get in. I became a little scared as the knock grew louder. I stepped behind Jay as he stepped and from of me and approached the door. I watched as he opened the door to the closet and grabbed out a gun. I sure as hell don't own a gun, when in the hell did he get one. Unless he had it all along and i just never knew. But wtf!!!

(Jay) "Stay back" he said he said as he slowly approached the door.

I did exactly what he said and stood back, i even started walking up the stairs a little bit. Something about Jay in this very moment was a bit of a turn on. I never felt so protected. In my head i was saying HELL YEA, GO JAY! Jay finally made it to the door, he hesitated before opening it but when he snatched it opened, Kelly instantly fell out into his arms.  I rushed back down the stairs when i realized it was and followed behind Jay as he carried her to the couch. I instantly broke down crying.

(Bey) "OMG, Kelly...Kelly..." i called out to her "...Are you okay...JAY tell me she's going to be okay."

(Jay) pushes me back a bit "B, you have to calm down okay...get a grip. Go get a wet towel and a bottle of water."

I quickly ran into the kitchen grabbing a wet towel and some water. When i saw my Kel laying out on the couch, crying and screaming her lungs out, with a black eye, a busted lip, and huge gash over her head, i feel to my knees, weak in my emotions.

(Jay) turns to look at Bey "Aw shit....B....B...B..get up..." he said going to tend to her "Baby, baby are you okay?"

(Bey) regaining her strength "Yea, yea, yea im okay."

(Jay) "okay cool.." he said and started standing up "..I need you to stay here with Kelly....i'll be back..." he said as he picked his gun back off and darted to the door.

(Bey) runs after Jay "Jay where are you going?" i screamed, crying, with face full of tears.

(Jay) "B, go back in the house..." he yelled from his car "Take care of Kelly..i'll be back." he said and scurried off.

It was around 9 o'clock when Jay left, the time now was close to 1. I had called Sanaa over to help me out, because at that moment she was the only person i could think of and besides i wanted to make sure my little sister was okay. My nerves grew bad as the seconds passed. As Kelly laid asleep on the couch, while me, Sanaa, and the girls waited anxiously in the living room.

(Sanaa) began to rub Bey's back "Its going to be okay, I'm sure he's alright."

(Solo) "Yea Bey, he'll be coming home in no time."

(Bey) wimpers "Thanks yal..." and what did you know, Jay came strolling through the door. "OMG JAY..." i said as i ran over to him.

When Jay got into the light, i started trembling as i looked at him covered in blood. All that was going through my mind was what did he do? He came in dropping his gun, on the table by the door. I pulled the door up behind him as he began to walk in the living room.

(Sanaa) stands up "Well i think it's time for us to head out..." looks to Karina "Come on Kari...lets go." hugs Bey as she walks out "I'll call you tomorrow."

(Bey) "Okay.." turns to look at Solo "..your not leaving"

(Solo) "No, Ima stay here tonight."

(Bey) "Alright."

After Sanaa and Karina left, i set with Jay as he poured him up a drink at the bar. He needed me right now and i needed him, so over all we needed each other. Solo went off upstairs as Jay and i remained downstairs.

(Bey) "Jay...what happened?"

(Jay) sips his drinks "I don't wanna talk about it."

(Bey) "Jay....baby please...just tell me what you did?"

Jay doesn't say anything.

(Bey) "You didn't kill him, did you Jay?"

(Jay) "No but i should have..."

(Bey) grabs Jay by the face "NO, you shouldn't have....Jay i know you mad and upset about what happened to Kelly and i am too...but we need you right now...what good are you too tis family if you get killed or end up in jail. Your days of living by the streets are long over, it's more to you then just that."

(Jay) "I know baby...but look at Kelly. Look at what he did to her. She's like a sister to me and i got her back just like she has mines...THAT i just couldn't let go." he said finishing off his drink with out even catching his breath.

(Bey) "I understand that Jay, but listen to me...your temper is going to get you in a world of trouble...once the police get involved then things are going to be a lot different. And i don't think i can bare to lose you again." i said beginning to break down.

(Jay) grabs Bey and kisses her forehead "I know B, i know. But thats just something I'm going to have to deal with when the time comes. But whats done is done and i have to deal with that."

Things get quiet for a minute. Then Jay looks over at Kelly "How she doing?" he said.

(Bey) "She okay, i gave her some meds and it knocked her out. I was too scared to take her to the hospital, i wanted to at least know you were okay."

(Jay) starts getting up "Well we still have to get her to the hospital to get her checked out. Im gonna run upstairs and get some clean clothes on, and you get ready too so that we can take her."

(Bey) "Okay..." i said heading upstairs to get ready.

I let Solo know to get ready so that we could take Kelly to the hospital. It was no way in hell that i was leaving her here alone by herself. After Jay was done getting ready, we got Kelly together and carried her out to the car. We were in pursuit and was on our way to the hospital, when next thing you know we were being pulled over by the police........I just knew things were gonna be bad.
