Chp 29 where it all began

 (Chapter Mood Introduction)
Today was the day of Jay's concert in AC. Kelly and myself decided to fly out there and surprise him. Since speaking with Tony, i've been thinking a lot about what he said. I've also been thinking about how i was going to tell Jay. I rather him be mad at me for telling him then mad at me for not telling him, hopefully tonight after his show i'll get a chance to tell him.

Originally i was suppose to meet with my daddy but since he called and cancelled our plans, i decided that me and Solo would go out in do some sisterly bonding. Being that she still wanted to go shopping for tomorrow, i thought it would be good for us to go shopping. After Julius arrived to pick us up, we headed to Times Square. The traffic was so bad that we had to stop a few blocks away and take the subway. I didn't mind though because i like taking the subway. From time to time i normally ride it. But not too often. 

After finally making it to Times Square, we walked up and down the and all around going in and out of stores. It didn't take long for us to have a sworn of paparazzi to start following behind us. They were snapping pictures left and right. All me and Solo could do was smile and laugh cuz they were right up in our faces. We joked about them and kept on about our business. After walking around for so long we went and stopped by a ice cream shop, Baskin Robin's. I love them, they have to be about my favorite ice cream. I mean DQ is good but it aint nothing like BR. We found a nice area outside where we could sit and enjoy our ice cream. I had butter pecan, which was my favorite and Solo had a mixture of things, cuz they ket you make your own personalized cup here.


(Bey) "Mmmm, it's been so long since i had some ice cream." i said taking first spoon of my ice cream. "I so don't know why they even put me on a diet plan because i never follow it, well sometimes." i said laughing.


(Solo) lol "Well i don't know why either, your ass eats like a hungry hyena."


(Bey) laughs even harder "I can't help that i like to eat, now you on the other hand.......Ms. Im wanna be the size of a tooth pick." i aid taking a shot back at her. 


(Solo) "Well i can't help it, if i can't gain wait. And Daniel doesnt seem to complain." she said eating a scoop of her eye cream.


(Bey) laughs "Hmp, well excuse me." starts rubbing her stomach "Ohh i forgot this is why i don't eat ice cream."


(Solo) cracks a smile "Ha, your ass gotta shit huh? Ol lactose ass." she joked.


(Bey) playfully takes her balled up napkin and throws it at Solo "Shut up, it's daddy fault." starts holding her stomach "Got damn......"


(Solo) starts laughing harder "And you gotta fly like that...ha ha.....sucks to be you."


(Bey) "Ohh, if i wasn't in plain i wo----"


RING. RING. RING. My phone started ringing.


(Bey) gives Solo a look "You lucky my phone started ringing."


(Solo) "Yea, Yea, Yea."


I pulled my phone out my purse, and saw that it was Jay calling. 


***(PHONE CONVO)


(Bey) "Whats up babe?" i said speaking with my mouth full of ice cream.


(Jay) "Whats up, what you doing?"


(Bey) swallows down her ice cream ".......whoo my bad, i was eating some ice cream, But sitting in Times Square outside of Baskin Robin's with Solo, and Julius."


(Jay) "I thought you were suppose to meet with your dad?"


(Bey) "I was but he cancelled."


(Jay) "Oh...."


(Bey) "What are you up too?"


(Jay) "Nothing sitting here at mom's house........She asked about you, Oh and Annie asked about you?"


(Bey) "Oh tell them all i said hey."


(Jay) "I will. But what you doing today?"


(Bey) "Oh nothing.....i got a few things to do and one being making some last minute arrangements for the party." i said lying.


(Jay) "Oh ok....ok.."


(Bey) "Why whats up?"


(Jay) "Well i was gonna see if you could come out here tonight?"


(Bey) "ooooohhhh, you know if i could i would but i can't. And besides ima see you tomorrow right?"


(Jay) "Yea, and it's cool, i was just seeing."


(Bey) "What time's your show anyway."


(Jay) "8."


(Bey) "Oh alright....." i said, i heard Ms. Gloria in the back ground yelling for Jay.


(Jay) "Hold on....." he said to me "Im coming ma..." he said speaking into his background. Gets back on the phone "Aye let me call you later, mama got putting some shit together she bought from the store, you know how that goes....." he said chuckling.


(Bey) "Alright, love you, talk to you later."


(Jay) "Yea, i love you too...." he said then hung up.


After getting off the phone with Jay. Solo and I finished up with our ice cream and hit up a couple of more stores. Once she found something, we left and headed home. I texted Kelly to meet me at the house. Shopping with Solo took up most of my day and by the time we got home, it was close to around the time for me and Kelly to be leaving. We weren't leaving til about 3, and it was 1. But knowing me and Kelly we were probably gonna be late anyway, we are never on time for our flights. Well most of the time. And then we had to book a flight because Jay is using the jet while he's on tour, it's more convenient for him.


Once i got home i went and doubled check to see if i had everything packed, i mean we were only going to be gone for the night, but a girl has to be prepared. I only had 2 bags, one for my clothes and the other for my shoes. I pretty sure kelly packed the same way, she's worst than me when it comes to packing. After about 30 to 45 mins of being home, Kelly had came. It's was close to 2, we had to be there at least 30 mins before since we had to go through check out.


(Bey) "Hey Kel...." i said hopping down the stairs as i went to greet her. Idk why, but i just felt like hopping down the stairs. I guess thats the kid side of me.


(Kelly) laughing "What the fuck are you doing with your weird ass?" she said completely ignoring my hi.


(Bey) laughs "Shut up, and damn no hi back. Thats fine...."


(Kelly) "Oh hush, crybaby."


(Bey) "Anywho, where's your bags?"


(Kelly) "I  only brought one it's in the car."


(Bey) "Whaaaaaaat only one?" i said sarcastically "I got 2."


(Kelly) "For what, it's only one night. We'll be right back in the morning? she asked as we made our way to the living room. "And where's Solo?"


(Bey) "Because idk, what we might do, i gotta be prepared and Oh she's upsta---"


(Solo) walking into the living room "Hey Keeeeeeeeeel-ly......." 


(Bey) turns and see's Solo "Well i guess not." i said chuckling.


(Kelly) "Hey boo......what you up too?"


(Solo) "Nothing.....i was just going over my set for tomorrow." she said after sitting down.


(Kelly) "Set?" she asked all confused. "Oh yea, your going to DJ, i forgot?"


(Solo) "Yea, duh...." lol


(Bey) "Wanna drink?" i asked Kelly. "Sorry Solo, you gotta sit out this time."


(Solo) "Oh I'm cool, I'm been straight on drinking since the other night." she joked.


(Bey and Kelly) laughs


(Kelly) "Now you know i want a drink, why would you even ask?"


(Bey) laughs "What you want?"


(Kelly) "What you about to make" she asked, seeing me pull out a few bottles.


(Bey) "A blast in a glass....."


A blast in a glass, was your choice of any fruity drink, mixed with Tequila, lemon, and a bit of scotch. 


(Kelly) "Ohhh just what i need for this flight."


(Bey) "I can't believe your still afraid of planes." i said shaking my head as i prepared our drinks.


(Kelly) "Says the person who gets car sick....." she shot back.


(Bey) "So, it's too small in a car and a whole lot going on." i said trying to defend myself.


(Solo and Kelly) laughs


(Kelly) "Yea, yea, yea......weak ass." she teased.


(Bey) "Keep talking and see if i fix your drink."


(Kelly) "OKAY! Then i'll just get up and fix it myself."


(Bey) laughing "Bla, Bla Bla."


After making our drinks and joking around with Kelly, i sat back down on the couch. Kelly and i sipped on our drinks until Julius came.


(Bey) "So Julius should be here around 2, we gotta get there by 2:30 in order to get checked in on time."


(Kelly) just sipping on her drink


(Bey) hits Kelly "Aye do you hear me?"


(Kelly) "Yea i hear you" she said laughing "Just drink is just too good."


(Bey) "Ok now, don't be at the airport acting a fool. I will leave you."


(Kelly) "Girl i hope i don't, you did make this a little strong."


(Bey) "My bad, i like mine with a little extra kick."


(Kelly) "I see" she said then started choking on her drink, we all broke out laughing.


(Kelly) "So Solo, why you not going to AC."


(Solo) "Cuz i aint feel like it and i we're only gonna be there for one night, i didn't want have fly in then fly right back out, that shit annoys me."


(Kelly) "Oh and i know what you mean."


KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK. Somebody started knocking at the door. I checked the time and saw that it could only be Julius.


(Bey) "Okay, come on Kelly we gotta go." i said getting up. "Solo can you go let him in, I'm about to go up and get my things."


(Solo) "Alright"


I went upstairs and got my things, and met Julius at the door. He went on and grabbed my things, and got Kelly things out the car. Before officially leaving, Kelly and I finished off our drinks. We said goodbye to Solo, and headed off to the airport. By the time we got to the airport, Kelly and I had a nice buzz going. Especially Kelly, she was acting too goofy. I swear because of her and took us the longest to check in because she wanna play around with the people and give them a hard time. But it was cool because no one took her seriously, they all knew she was just joking.

After making it through check out with had 10 mins to get to our gate, being that they had already started boarding. The thing is the damn gate was on the other side of the airport, which meant we had to run. I feel bad cuz poor Julius had to carry our bags. It's bad enough that he has to deal with us being buzzed, now where running through the airport. After 2 minutes of running, we made it to our gate and boarded in first class. Where they provided us everything for free, including drink. Of course Kelly and I couldn't resist the free drinks. We took advantage for that 1hr and 1/2 flight. But by the time we landed our buzzed had became stronger, we were drunk, but not out of control drunk. Me and Kelly went and got checked in, as did Julius. We stayed in the room for a like an hour, but i wanted to go down to the pool so that's where we went.


When we got down to the pool, i couldt wait to get in. Luckily it was only a few people at the pool, no one was really swimming, i was probably the only one. After sitting my pool pag aside, i stripped down into my bikini and got into the pool. The water was more warm, rather than cold. I was swimming around and around while Kelly sat on the side. I begged her to come in with me, until she finally said yes. 

There was a guy walking around with a tray of drinks that looked so damn good. Knowing i didn't need anything else, i still got one. And yes, i had it the pool. Kelly got something different but she sat on the ledge and drunk hers.

(Kelly) "I can't believe we're still drinking" she said laughing "Ima be passed out in the damn crowd somewhere at the concert." she joked.


(Bey) laughs "Shut up silly and girl me either. Jay gonna be like Bey wtf?!" 


(Kelly) "Na, Jay gonna be wanting to fuck."


(Bey) "And ima be ready.....shit it's been a month, not to mention the time before he left."


(Kelly) "Aw poor baby." she said poking out her lip "I think thats the longest i can go, anything past that, I'm liable to die."


(Bey) shakes her head "FREAK." i said in laughter.


(Kelly) "Hey i got needs."


(Bey) sips on her drink "Hmp. Sure you do." takes another sip "what time is it, we gotta start getting ready." i said realizing it was getting late.


(Kelly) "Hold up" she said as she got out and went to check her phone. "It's 6:53." 


(Bey) "SHIT!" i said rushing over to the stairs "Dammit, we were suppose to be leaving at 7." i said getting out the pool.


(Kelly) starts grabbing her things "Oh look here comes Julius" she said pointing towards him.


(Bey) "Aw fuck, he's probably been calling." i said checking my phone. "Girl yea, look 10 missed calls." i said showing her.


(Kelly) "Oohh your in trouble." she said playfully.


(Bey) "No I'm not" grabbing my things "come on lets run."


I don't know if it was just me being drunk or what, but i felt the need to run from Julius. We took off running into the opposite direction from him. I felt like a little kid but it was such an adrenaline rush, i was having too much fun. We ended up making it back to the room before Julius. And about 15 mins later he came pounding on the door. Me and Kelly looked at each other laughing. We were fighting with each other because we didn't want to open the door. I forgot Julius had the key because he came right into the room once we didn't answer. We just fell out on the bed laughing.


(Julius) "Im glad yal think it's funny, got me running all over this hotel looking for yal. Oh and don't think i didn't see yal running." He said playfully mad,  standing there all tall and out of breath and scary looking. I was actually a little scared.


(Bey) laughs "Oh you saw us, we didn't think you saw us."


(Kelly) burst out laughing 


(Julius) "Yea i did" starts checking his watch "Yal better go ahead and start getting ready because we're leaving out at 7:30 and not a minute later."


(Bey) "fine okay."


(Julius) "And I'm coming back to check on yal, in about 15 mins." he said as he walked towards the door.


But i had already gone into the bathroom so he wouldnt have heard me if i responded.


(Kelly) "ooooooookay." gets up and goes into the bathroom with Bey. "Why is Julius so scary.....he had me laid out on that bed scared, i didn't even wanna move." she said chuckling.


(Bey) turns the shower on "Girl you, i was scared to laugh, i was trying to hold it in. Even when he's playing he still scares me." We both started laughing.


(Kelly) "Alright let me go get ready" she said as she walked out "What you wearing?" she turned back and said.


(Bey) "Idk yet, but I'ma see when i get out."


(Kelly) "Oh okay."


After that, Kelly went on to shower and get ready and so did I. I took a quick shower, so that i would have more time to get ready and do my hair. Kelly was getting out around the same time i had, but just a little after me. Our suitcase were in the same room, so thats where we got dress. I pulled out a white shirt, with some shorts, and Kelly had her a cute top with shorts as well. I toweled dried my hair and left it curly, and Kelly slicked hers back leaving half up and the other half down. And just as he said 15 mins later he was coming to check on us.


(Julius) "Hey where are you guys at?" he yelled through the suite.


(Bey) "Where back here." i yelled to him.


(Julius) "Yal decent right?" he asked before coming into the room.


(Kelly) "Yea."


(Julius) Walks into the room "okay, it's it 7:25, we living in 5 mins."


(Bey) "Okay, we'll i'll be done once Kelly is done hogging up the bathroom." i joked.


(Kelly) yells from the bathroom "Well it is 2 bathrooms."


(Bey) "Well i aint feel like going to the other side of the suite, plus it's a little dark over there i complained."


(Kelly) "You are such a cry baby" she said coming out the bathroom "Oh and you can get in there now."


(Julius) "I swear, I'm never letting yal drink again." he teased "Yal are a headache."


(Bey) "Well it's Kelly Fault, wanna make blast and a glass and shit." i said trying to blame it on Kelly.


(Kelly) "Oh Bitch, you were the one talking about you wanna drink?" she said mocking me.


(Bey) laughs "I don't not sound like that."


(Kelly) "Just go in the bathroom for Julius throws one of us out the window." 


(Bey) goes into the bathroom "Well it's gonna be you because Julius loves me."


(Kelly) "Ch, but he loves me more, don't you Ju?"


(Julius) "I''ll love the both of yal once, yal are downstairs in the car, but right now, yal both could get get tossed out the window."


(Kelly and Bey) laughs


(Julius) "Ima be downs stairs when yal ready and yal only got 3 mins, soooooooo."


(Bey) "Alright, Alright......we understand 3 mins." i mocked.


After Julius left, we finished getting ready. I just had to apple on some make up. It was 7:40 when we got downstairs and Julius made sure he gave us hell about that. We arrived to the show at about 8:20, all the traffic it was getting here, made the trip even longer. Me and Kelly were still drunk and full of ourselves, the whole time we just kept picking with Julius, to the point where he just started ignoring us. But all it did was made us pick with him more.


When we got there, we didn't even bother going back stage. I knew Jay was already out on stage. As i was making my way through the crowd i looked up and saw Gwyn on stage. I had no idea she was even going to be there, but then i saw Chris up there too. He and Jay were performing, and Gwyn, well she was just being Gwyn. 

After Gwyn was done doing whatever it was she was doing on stage, she had came down into the crowd. She must not had seen us when she was on stage because she walked right passed us.

(Bey) playfully bumps Gwyn "Watch where you going?"

(Gwyn) turns around "EXCU------" realizes who i am "OMG, hey girl." she said extending her arms out to hug me.

(Bey) hugs Bey "Whats up?.........What are you doing here?"

(Gwyn) "Chris was perfuming with Jay tonight, so i figured i'll just come out. I figured you would be here though."

(Bey) "Yea, i wanted to surprise Jay, so i had kept it a secret."

(Gwyn) "Ohhhhh i see" looks around Bey and taps Kelly "Hey Kel."

(Kelly) "Hey Gwyn.....i seen you up there on stage girl."

(Gwyn) laughs "Girl i know, i had just finished performing."

(Kelly) "Oh really?"

(Gwyn) "Yea, Jay and Chris did a song and wanted me to see the hook, so yea."

(Kelly) "Oh okay, cool."

For the rest of the night, we sat and enjoyed the rest of the show. My drunkenness had simmered down, i was juts merely buzzing now. During the midst of it, Kanye came and chilled with us. This really urked Kelly being that they cant stand each other. She just kept cutting him with the corner of her eyes and all i could do was laugh. He stayed down there with us until it was his time to go back on stage. Jay smiled at us when he saw that we were there. After the show was over we went back stage to meet up with Jay. Jay was cheesing hard when he saw us standing outside his dressing room.

We also ran into Spike Lee back stage, he was there too. We all took a picture together, then Jay pulled me off to the side.

(Jay) hugs and kisses Bey "You play too much, you know that." he said playfully.


(Bey) giggles and hugs and kisses Jay back "Hmm what i do?" i said trying to play innocent.


(Jay) "Don't play, you know exactly what I'm talking about." he said as he still held on Bey.


(Bey) "Welp, you can't be the one always surprising me....so i switched it up."


(Jay) "Im glad you did, i was missing you." he said as he kissed me again.


(Bey) kisses Jay back "I missed you too Pop Pop."


(Kelly) cuts in "Get a room." she yelled from down the hall.


(Bey and Jay) laughs


(Jay) "Mind your business girl....." he joked.


(Bey) pulls Jay by the hand "Come on lets go in here."


We walked into Jay's dressing room and sat down on one of the sofa's, with me sitting on Jays lap. We sat on the couch and made out for a min, until i broke away thinking that now was the time i should tell Jay about Tony. But Jay wasn't having it.


(Bey) "Jay...I gotta talk to you about something?" i said as he was still kissing on me.


(Jay) "Cant it wait?"


(Bey) "No it's important." i said trying to resist.


(Jay) "Your not pregnant are you?" he said stopping to look at me.


(Bey) chuckles "Noooo im not pregnant."


(Jay) "Then what can be more important than that." he asked as proceeded to start kissing on me, but this time sliding his hands up my shirt.


(Bey) pushing away from Jay "Come on baby, for real........i really have to talk too you."


(Jay) leans back on the couch and stares hard at Bey, takes a deep sigh "What is it?"


(Bey) slides off of Jay and sits next to him on the couch "Well you know how much i love you right?"


(Jay) starts looking confused and concerned "Yea."


(Bey) "And you said that we can talk about anything, no matter what the case may be."


(Jay) gets more serious "Bey whats going on?"


(Bey) takes a deep breath "I uuuh.....uuh....I.......I" this was harder than i thought, but i knew i had to tell him.


(Jay) gives Bey a look "You what?!!!!" his tone became very firm and strong. I was actually quite scared.


(Bey) finally i just came right out and aid it. "I've been seeing Tony again, but it's nothing like you think."


(Jay) sits up fast and move towards the edge of the couch "You said what?!" he said turning back to look at Bey, who was sitting back on the couch, nervous and scared.


(Bey) "Shhh, can you lower your voice." i said very calmly.


(Jay) "Look I'm not trying to yell" he said quieting down "Im just trying to understand why, after all he's put you through."


(Bey) "Thats another thing i wanna talk to you about........he's been going through a lot having to deal with his father only having 3 months left to live, and that Victoria girl faking the whole DNA testing."


(Jay) "That doesn't make since, how could you fake a DNA test.....those results don't lie."


(Bey) "Well apparently she had someone working on the inside who altered the test, to fake the results......."


(Jay) "Thats still doesn't seem right too me, but what do i know."


(Bey) "But anyways, he had called me a couple months ago, congratulating me on the album and what not and apologized for everything and asked if we could still be friends."


(Jay) "And so what, you just said yea." he said with an attitude.


(Bey) "NO, i took time to think about it....then when i ran into him at the premiere we got to talking and it just went on from there."


Jays stands up and starts pacing round the room trying to gather his thoughts. While Bey just sits on the couch quietly and watches him.


(Jays Thoughts)
I can't believe Bey is still communicating with this dude, after i worked so hard trying to make her get over him and bring her back to her normal self. It was me those nights and days, when she felt like she was gonna lose it, but i made sure she didn't. Even when she lost the baby, i was there. And where was he. Sometimes i just don't understand Bey, but i don't wanna tell her what she can and can't do. Although i don't like it, i'll just have to accept it. Only because i can relate with him. See my father died when i was 12, so i never had one around. No man to show be how to be a man, i had to learn on my own. Tony's lucky to have had one, and he's lucky to still have Bey around. I trust Bey enough, not to let it go past a friendly bases. But don't think for 2 secs, I'm going to take this shit lightly. 


(Bey) now standing up "Jay are you mad at me?"


(Jay) turns to face Bey "No I'm not mad at you but i am mad at the situation. You know how i feel about dude."


(Bey) grabs ahold of Jay "Look if you don't want me talking to him, then i want. Your worth more to me then a friendship with Tony."


(Jay) smiles "No i dont wanna put you and that type of predicament" he said as he kissed her forehead "Your probably the only real friend Tony has, and although i can't say i agree with it, but he's is dealing with a lot and he does need somebody....."


(Bey) "It's not like where going to be taking trips and stuff like that, we hardly even ever speak, maybe once every once in a while. I would never jeopardize our relationship......i love you too much."


(Jay) "And i love you too, which is why Im trusting you to be friends with him. I know you want let it go that far."


(Bey) "Oh god no" i said hugging on to Jay "Those days are long over, there's only one guy that i know who i'll let take it that far."


(Jay) with a confused look on his face "WHO?!"


(Bey) giggling "Shawn Corey Carter, thats who." i said smiling at Jay.


(Jay) grinning "Mmm, i love it when you say my name."


(Bey) "Ha, i bet you do." i said grabbing Jay by the hand. "Come on lets go and find the rest of the crew so we can get out of here, Me and you have some unfinished business." i said turning back to wink at him as we walked out the door.


(Jay) "Yes......We.......Do." he said giving me that look.


And with that being said, Jay and I met up with everyone else. We were going to go out and party but Jay and I had other plans. We went back to the hotel and had some bomb ass sex. While Kelly and Ye went off and partied with Spike and his crew. I was shocked that Kelly and Ye were even hanging together, because after they ended what ever they had going on, they've been at each other throats. As for Gwyn and Chris, they flew back into NY after leaving from the concert. We figured one of us had to be back to handle the preparations for tomorrow. And the night ended great, i told Jay what i had to tell him. I was just looking forward to spending these next couple of day with him.
