Chapter 11 "Where it All Began"

After the whole kiss with Shawn and I at his studio, i ended up staying the night with him, but we didn't do anything. He was such a gentlemen. He even offered to sleep in his guest room, but i didn't want him to. After that moment we shared, i just wanted to be next to him. We talked and cuddled the whole night. It was the best night ever! When i woke up the next morning i was hoping to see Shawn, but when i felt for him there was nobody there. I sat up in attempt to go look for him but when i did he was already walking in the room.

(Shawn) "Hey there Gorgeous" he said walking in the room.


(Bey) smiling "Hi. "


(Shawn) "How did you sleep?" he said crawling in the bed.


(Bey) "Im slept greaaaaaaat."


(Shawn) "Thats good. We--"


Ring. Ring. Ring. My phone went off. It was an unknown number.


(Bey)  "Hold on a sec" i said getting up out of bed. "Hello."


(Person) "Hello, Ms. Jackson.....this is Dr. Lamberg from the NJ hospital. I was just calling to inform you that you have a check up coming up in a couple of weeks, and i was just calling to let you know."


(Bey) looking at Shawn "Uhm, okay. Is there anyway that i can relocate, being that i don't live in New Jersey."


(DR.) "Oh okay, well where do you stay?"


(Bey) "I stay in New York."


(DR.) "Oh okay, well i'll send your case over to a couple of DR's there and have them contact you about scheduling an appt."


(Bey) "Oh okay, thats great."


(DR.) "Well that'll be all for today Ms. Jackson, you have a good day."


(Bey) "Thank you, you too." hangs up.


Bey grabs her clothes and starts putting them on.


(Shawn) "Who was that?"


(Bey) "The doctor calling to confirm my appt."


(Shawn) "Oh." watching me put on my clothes "You leaving?"


(Bey) "Yea, i have to go home and get showered and stuff."


(Shawn) "You can't do that here?"


(Bey) "No. And besides i don't have any clothes."


(Shawn) "I'll buy you some clothes...." he said sarcastically but really serious.


(Bey) "You are silly, but i have to go. I've been out all night and I know Tony's over there about to have some type of panic attack."


(Shawn) sighs "I wish you didn't have to go..."


(Bey) "Look..." i said crawling back into to bed "Im just going to go home and grab a few things and I'll be back in a few, he should be gone off the practice anyway so it shouldn't take long."


(Shawn) pulls Bey on top of him "You promise your gonna come back?"


(Bey) "Yes, i promise. The quicker you let me leave the quicker i can come back." i said jokingly


(Shawn) pulls Bey close enough where he can sit up to kiss her "Alright" he said kissing Bey "Hurry back."


After leaving Shawn's place, i felt too good. I couldn't wait to tell Kelly, i just had to call her.


(Bey) "Omg Kel, you would never believe this."


(Kelly) "ooooh what?" she asked all excited.


(Bey) skipping over details "I spent a night with Shawn last night."


(Kelly) shocked "What?!"


(Bey) "I know right. After I left from your place, i went to look for him at his studio and we got to talking about Aaliyah, and our feelings for each other then before i knew it we were kissing on each other and we went back to his place and well now I'm on my way home."


(Kelly) still shocked "WHAT!?"


(Bey) laughing at Kelly


(Kelly) "So what is Tony gonna think, what is he gonna say? Has he tried calling you, did you talk to him, i mean..OMG BEY."


The way Kelly was talking you would think she was more excited then i was.


(Bey) "Nope, i havent talked to him since i left the house yesterday, he hasn't even tried to call. I hate to say, but i really don't care."


(Kelly) "So what are you doing now?"


(Bey) "About to head home."


(Kelly) "What if Tony's there."


(Bey) "He shouldn't and if so, then hey it is what it is."


(Kelly) "Damn, i never heard you talk like this. Stella must have got here groove back.." she joked.


(Bey) laughing "You are too silly, but ima call you a little later, i'm about to be pulling up in a min."


(Kelly) "Okay, call me back too."


(Bey) "Alright." hangs up.


When i pulled up at home, i didn't see Ton'y car. I was relieved, i didn't have time for the head ache. I got in the house and checked around to make sure that he wasn't home and too make sure his car wasn't parked in the garage, but it wasn't no sign of him. I rushed up stairs to pack a bag of my things to take back to Shawn's place, then placed out some clothes to wear for today. After doing that i hopped in the shower to get freshened up and as i was getting out the shower i heard the front door opening. Shit, Tony was home. I quickly dried myself off and started putting on my clothes and there he was walking into the room.


(Tony) "Where you off too?" he asked going to sit down on the bed.


(Bey) pulling down her shirt "Back to the hospital." I just said the first thing that came to my mind.


(Tony) "The hospital, whats wrong is everything okay?"


(Bey) "Yea, yea everything is fine. Yesterday after i left Kelly house, i went to pick Solo up from Angie's and we went to a new restaurant that just opened up on 74th, and she had got food poisoning so i had to take her to the hospital. It was so bad that she had to stay overnight so i stayed with her." i started lying my ass off.


(Tony) "Will why didn't you call?"


(Bey) "Baby, i did call" i said trying to be all subtle or what not "the hospital had bad service and i tried calling you off their phone, but i couldn't get through."


He just looked at me not knowing whether or not i was lying or telling the truth. I think he was actually believing me though.


(Tony) looking at Bey's bag "So whats with the bag?"


(Bey) "She asked if i could bring her some clothes, because they're releasing her today and she didn't want to be in the same clothes she had on yesterday."


(Tony) "Oh okay."


(Bey) ''Where are you coming from?" i asked quickly changing the subject.


(Tony) "I went to the early practice today, so that i could spend all day with you. You know i'll be leaving in a couple of days."


(Bey) "Gosh already?" i asked trying to make it as though i really cared.


(Tony) "Yea. So what are you doing after you get Solo?"


(Bey) "Well I gotta meet back up with my team about my line, apparently they've had a problem with the blue print i had drawn up." i said remembering a lie, i told him from the past. I know for sure he'll believe my story now.


(Tony) "Well how long is that going to take?"


(Bey) "Im not sure, a couple of hours maybe."


(Tony) stars looking a little mad.


(Bey) "But the minute i finish up with them, i'll come straight home so we could have some time together.......okay baby." i said walking over to kiss him, so he could stop hassling me so i could leave.


(Tony) "Okay, make sure you tell Solo, i hope she gets better." he said standing up to walk me to the door.


(Bey) "Okay, i will."


By this time we had already made it downstairs and i was putting my things in the car.


(Tony) "Alright baby, see you later." he said waving to Bey


(Bey) Hunks the horn to Tony as she drives off.


No sooner after i was driving off Shawn had started calling.


(Bey) "You must really miss me huh?" i said answering he phone.


(Shawn) "Whats taking you so long?"


(Bey) "Why do you think?" i said sounding a little irritated.


(Shawn) "Is everything cool?" he said sensing the frustration in my voice.


(Bey) "Im on my way there now, ill be there in a few."


(Shawn) "Okay, see you when you get here." hangs up.


It didn't take long for me to get to Shawn's house. When i got there he was was wearing some different clothes from earlier. I guess he had also showered and changed clothes. He was sitting on the couch watching sport center when i came in, then we he noticed i was there he had turned it off.


(Shawn) "Are you hungry?" he asked walking up to me, grabbing my bag.


He went and sat it inside of a closet.


(Bey) "Yea i could go for a bite to eat." I said rubbing my stomach.


(Shawn) "Alright we i know a nice little spot up the street from me, we can go there to eat if you want?"


(Bey) "Okay, thats fine."


(Shawn) "You feel like walking?"


(Bey) starts to think "Hmmm sure, i could use the fresh air."


(Shawn) "Alright lets go."

 After Shawn locked up his place, we headed out. It took us about 15 mins to get where we were going. I'll admit, the walk was really refreshing, Shawn had me cracking up with the stories he was making up about random people. He had a story for everybody that walked passed. We got to the restaurant and decided to eat outside, i mean the weather was to perfect not to enjoy it. I didn't know what to order. I didn't know whether i wanted breakfast or lunch because of the time, so i just ordered a variety of things. After a short wait, we place our orders, received our food, and sat and enjoyed our meal.


(Shawn) "So how's everything? Are you enjoying your meal?"


(Bey) "Yes Shawn, it's actually quite delicious."


(Shawn) "Thats good, I'm glad you like it."


(Bey) "What you got over there?" i asked looking at his plate.


(Shawn) looks down "The brunch club special."


(Bey) "What is it?"


(Shawn) "It's a huge club sandwich mixed when different breakfast and lunch meals. But you get to choose what you want on it."


(Bey) looking at Shawn's plate "Oooh it looks yummy."


(Shawn) "uh-un fatty, what you didn't order enough or something" he said cracking a joke.


(Bey) "See, i wasn't even gonna ask you for it, why to talking." i said playfully talking mess.


(Shawn) "Yea, yea, yea.....but i was just kidding. You could try it of you like." he said pushing his plate towards me.


(Bey) "Nope, i don't want it." trying to play it off, knowing i really did.


(Shawn) waves the club in Bey's face "Come oooooon, you know you wanna taste it."


(Bey)  snatches Shawn's club "Give me that, well if you gonna wave it all in my face then i mine as del try it." takes a bite into it "Mmm this is good."


(Shawn) "Okay, can i have my club back please." he joked.


(Bey) still taking bites "Okay, hold on."


(Shawn) "I see im gonna have to place another order."


(Bey) giving Shawn back his club "Oops my bad." i said laughing


(Shawn) "Ol greedy ass."


(Bey) "Oh hush up cry baby." i teased.


(Shawn) "Aye, what i tell you about that" giving bey a look "Alright now."


(Bey) "You just think you are so tough don't you?"


(Shawn) "I don't think i know."


(Bey) "Yea sure you do." i kept on teasing him.


Shawn and I finished up on our meals, and left back to his place. On our way home my mom started calling me.


(Bey) "Hey mom."


(Ms. Tina) "Hey baby, what are you up too?"


(Bey) "Oooh nothing just taking a walk around, it's nice out."


(Ms. Tina) "Oh it's raining here." she was back in Houston.


(Bey) "Oh really..."


(Ms. Tina) "Yea....well i didn't want anything, i was just calling to let you know the producers contacted me and told me they were finished with the film and it'll be premiering around thanks giving."


(Bey) "Oh thats great. It seems like it was taking forever."


(Ms. Tina) "Yea i know, well let me get back to what i was doing...oh and your dad says hey."


(Bey) "Tell him i said hi."


(Ms. Tina) "Okay honey, talk too you later."


(Bey) "Alright mama, love you bye."


(Ms. Tina) "Love you too." hangs up.


(Bey) "Its about time" i said hanging up the phone with my mom.


(Shawn) looking confused "For?"


(Bey) "The movie i just finish will be premiering in november."


(Shawn) "And what movie is that?"


(Bey) "The Pink Panther."


(Shawn) "Oh okay, well congratulations."


(Bey) "Thanks." i said smiling.


We finally made it back to Shawn's place. I was exhausted from the walk and full from eating, that i all wanted to do was just lay down. I went in Shawn's room and got into bed and immediately started dozing off.


(Shawn) walking into the room "Aw don't tell me your about to go to sleep?"


(Bey) "Well i was until you just interrupted me." i joked.


(Shawn) "It's only 2 though."


(Bey) "I know, that walk wore me out and i think i ate too much."


(Shawn) "Shit you aint lying" he said laughing.


(Bey) throws a pillow at Shawn "Shut up stupid."


(Shawn) gets into bed and lays next too bey "You do look tired." he said rubbing my face "Alright ima go in the from and watch some tv and you get some sleep." he said kissing me on my forehead.


(Bey) "Okay, just give me  like 1 or 2 hours."


(Shawn) getting out of bed "Alright."


Mmm, it felt so good sleeping in Shawn's bed. It was so comfortable and it was so peaceful. I slept for at least 4 hours, but it felt like 20 mins. When i awoke, Shawn was laying in bed next to me but he was sleep. I checked my phone to see if i had any missed calls or texts. I only had a text from Solo, asking if i could come get her and a call from Tony, remembering he had wanted me to spend some time with him tonight. I crawled out of bed, trying not to wake Shawn up. I checked back in the room to see if Shawn was still sleep and when i saw that he was, i walked into the kitchen and called Tony.


(Bey) "Hey what are you doing?"


(Tony) "Nothing, just chilling out at the house. When are you coming home?"


(Bey) checks her phone of the time "Shortly, my meeting ran long and i had too run a few errands."


(Tony) "You know it's 6 o'clock?"


(Bey) "Yea, i know...i be there Tony."


(Tony) "I hope so, Im leaving in 2 days and i really want to spend some time with you."


(Bey) "Okay, i call or text you when I'm on my way."


This is becoming frustrating, having to deal with both Tony and Shawn. Well not so much Shawn, but trying to juggle between the two. I really don't want to hurt Tony's feeling despite what he's done to me,  but i also don't want to lose out on what I can have with Shawn. I thought it would be easy for me to let Tony go, considering all the things he's put me through but when i think about it, it's really not. I walked into Shawn's room to grab my things, to leave. I was caught in the middle and i was torn between two. I decided the best thing to do at this point was to leave. And although i felt bad about just up and leaving Shawn, i knew he would understand, or at least i hoped he would.
