Chp 19 Where it All Began

A few days has passed now and Kelly's concert was in the next 2 days. I talked it over with Shawn about going with me and he agreed. We were in the middle of packing because we decided we would go out there a couple days earlier. Being that both of our schedules was cleared, we felt a mini vacay would be perfect for us. I also wanted to surprise Kelly. I know how it could be when your away, because i know for me i get really home sick. Solo and Daniel decided they were gonna stay back at the house since Daniel was going to be leaving by the time we got back anyway. I didn't mind though. I already gave Michelle and Angie the heads up to do random check ups. I'm not no fool. My mom knew Daniel was in town, but she would flip out if she knew i was leaving them here at my house by themselves. So i told her that Daniel was going to be staying at a hotel and Solo was going to be with Michelle. She knew that if Solo was going to Michelle's than she wouldn't have anything  to worry about.

(Solo) coming into the room "Hey Bey, what time are you guys leaving again."

(Bey) packing clothes into her suitcase "Uhm, well our flight leaves at like 6, but where gonna leave out like around 5 or 5:30, so in next hour probably."

(Solo) "Ohhhhh uhm well alright."

(Bey) "Why whats up?"

(Solo) "Oh nothing, Daniel and I were gonna go grab a bite to eat but we'll just wait until after you guys leave."

(Bey) "Oh alright."

Solo leaves out and Shawn comes in with some bags full of stuff.

(Bey) looking at Shawn bring all that junk in "Jay....What is all that?"

These past few days, i have been getting use to calling Shawn Jay, since it was everyone calls him. But i still do call him Shawn, when things are on a more serious matter.

(Shawn) "Oh i just went to go grab a few things, that we're gonna need."

I walked over and searched through the bags and starts pulling out things he had things like gum, magazines, some beaded bracelets, dvd's and a whole bunch of other mess.

(Bey) chuckling and pulls out the bracelets "Really Jay, bracelets?"

(Shawn) snatching away the bracelets "Look they're stress relieving bracelets, i googled them on the on the internet, they're suppose to keep your anxiety levels down."

(Bey) "Anxiety for what?"

(Shawn) "The plane duh" he said putting them back into the bags.

(Bey) starts giggling "Don't tell me your afraid of planes."

(Shawn) "Nooooo im not" he said all in denial "It's just that whole incident with Aaliyah really tripped me out, thats all."

(Bey) walks over to Shawn and kisses him "Look, you have nothing to worry about i'll be with you."

(Shawn) "Yea, you gonna be right with me when we die."

All i could do was laugh because he was really serious. I just found it amusing. He's all tough when it comes to anything else, but flying, i just had to laugh.

(Shawn) "Im glad you think it's funny." he said getting a bit offended.

(Bey) "I don't mean to laugh but what are the odd of us crashing, like come on really?"

(Shawn) "Okay if your trying to help, please don't. It's only making matters worst."

(Bey) "Okay, I'm sorry.....i'll just be quiet." i said holding in my laugh.

I wanted to laugh so bad but i knew it'll just make him more upset, so i tried my best to hold it in. I couldn't believe he was really that nervous about flying.

(Shawn) counting my bags "Geesh did you pack enough?" he said sarcastically but halfway serious.

(Bey) looks at her bags "Well i don't know what the weather i going to be like and i have no clue what i want to wear an---"

(Shawn) shakes his head "Women man, i tell ya." he said walking into the bathroom.

(Bey) rolls eyes "Did you talk to Ye?" i said yelling into the bathroom. He was also suppose to come with us.

(Shawn) "Yea" he said yelling back "He said he's going to fly out in the morning."

(Bey) "Oh ok--" i said in attempt to yell, but he was already walking back out the bathroom "Oh, okay."

(Shawn) "We leave at 6 right?"

(Bey) "Yea."

(Shawn) "Okay, cuz i told the driver to be here at 5."

(Bey) "Alright."

Shawn and I packed up the rest of our things. For the rest of the time being we pretty much double checked everything to make sure everything was intact. Went over the guidelines with Solo and Daniel discussing whats expected while we're gone and just chilled out until the driver came. Before leaving Shawn took about 8 shots of remy. I just silently laughed on the inside, amused by his franticness. When the driver got their it was about 5:15, he had came late. We didn't arrive to the airport until about 5:50. The traffic was really bad out. We weren't tripping though because we had our own private jet that we were taking. We were rushing through the airport though because we were trying to get to LA at a certain time, well i wasn't rushing it was so much Shawn.

Walking through the airport i could feel the people as they watched as we passed by. It wasn't long before the paparazzi and the press started swarming in. You could hear them shouting out things to us like, where's Tony? Was i just a temporary replacement for Jay to get over Aaliyah's death. Were we a new couple or was it just for publicity? And all other types of nonsense. Shawn and I just kept walking and ignored them, not giving in. We finally reached the jet and quickly boarded it. It wasn't long though before our the security and the airport staff was bringing our luggage to us. After about 15 more minutes we were finally taking off. I looked over at Shawn while he popped in a piece a gum in his mouth, put in his ear phones, and squoze on to his stress beads. I instantly let out a chuckle because i just thought it was just too funny. I reached out to touch him to see if he was okay, but i shouldn't have even done that because the minute i laid my hand on him, his ass jumped up out his seat yelling "Are we crashing, Are we crashing?" I started falling out laughing. He was just standing there looking around, his beads were tossed on the other side of the plane.

(Shawn) "Man what the hell." he said all shaken up.

(Bey) rising up off the floor, trying to catch her breath from laughing "Wait" i said still laughing and trying to get up "I was trying to see were you okay." As much as i was trying to stop laughing i just couldn't.

(Shawn) "Do it look like I'm okay." he said finally sitting back down.

(Bey) climbing back into the chair "Aww POP POP, your really tripping out huh?"

(Shawn) "Yea man, i need another drink."

As much as i wanted to crack a joke, remembering he took about 8 shots back at the house, i just couldn't. I didn't want to keep picking on him, he was already tripping out, i didn't want to make matters worst. I got up to go pour him up a glass of cognac straight, i knew that would calm his nerves. The minute i gave it to him, he threw the whole thing back, non stop and set the glass down next to him. I just stood above him for a minute, just looking at him.

(Bey) sits down on Shawn's lap "How are you feeling now?"

(Shawn) "I mean I'm good, I'm, I'm , I'm ju--"

I started nibbling on Shawn's ear. My poor baby was all tensed up. It was pretty funny though, but i didn't like seeing him like this. I was going to do whatever it took to calm his nerves.

(Shawn) pulling his head away from Bey "I can't do this right now."

(Bey) starts kissing on Shawn's neck "And why not?"

(Shawn) trying to resist "Be....Be....Because....we're mmmmmmm" clears throat " i mean we're uhm."

(Shawn's thoughts)

I know any other time i'd be down for this, but not when we're thousands of feet in the air. I still couldn't get over the whole death about Aaliyah. She was so young and it was so unexpected. She was on her way to her video shoot when it happened. I always think about the shit i've done in my life and think about how i was suppose to be dead a long time ago. That girl had every ounce of good in her body and yet her life was taken away. I must say i do admire Bey for trying to help me cope with things but my mind was too far gone.

(Bey) still kissing on Shawn

(Shawn) pushes be off, but in a gentle way.

(Bey) giving Shawn a look "Whats the problem?" i asked confused.

(Shawn) "Nothing Bey, i just don't want to this, well not right now i don't."

(Bey) gets off of Shawn and goes to sit in her chair *Sighs*

(Shawn) "Whats wrong?"

(Bey) "Nothing, i fine."

(Shawn) "No your not, talk too me."

(Bey's thought)

I must say i was a little offended that Shawn turned me down. But i could tell something was really bothering him, something that was much more than just the whole flying on a plane thing. I just wasn't sure how to approach the situation. I figured i'll just work it in the conversation.

(Bey) "Im mean I'm just a little upset that you turned me down, but i understand, I'm not tripping on it."

(Shawn) turns his chair towards Bey "It's not you, it's me. I just have a lot on my mind thats all."

(Bey) "Do you wanna talk about it?"

(Shawn) "I don't even know where to begin."

(Bey) "Just start from what you know."

(Shawn) "Well ever since Aaliyah died, it really made me think about things."

(Bey) "Like?"

(Shawn) "Well you and me for instance."

(Bey) "What do you mean?"

(Shawn) "You and I come from 2 different lifestyles, one's that are opposite. The way i grew up it was like i always had to fight to get what I wanted, but i don't mean fighting in a physical way. I did a lot of things in my past that i'm not proud of, but it made me the man i am today. I don't regret anything. I guess it's just that being with you, you make me want to be a better man. Me, Im 33 your 21....i then practically did it all. You still have your whole life ahead of you and i don't want to feel like I'm holding you back from anything."

(Bey) "And opposites attract. And i can't believe you Shawn, you could never hold me back. If thats the case i could have stayed with Antonio. The thing with you, i already know the type of man you are, i know the lifestyle you've lived, but that hasn't once effected the way i feel for you. Being with you lately i've feel more alive then i've ever felt. So far i feel you and i could have something so real together. And i've never felt like this before."

(Shawn) "Im just saying, you and i are going to always be in the public eye a lot. There's going to be a lot of talk in the media, somethings that are good and somethings that are bad. Do you think you be able to handle that? You seen what happened today, when we were at the airport the type of questions they were throwing at us. I just don't want you to get so caught up in things that you let it ruin what we could possibly have."

(Bey) "I could care less about whats being said in the media because i know how they operate.We know whats real. Im just saying Shawn, in order for things to work out between us, we must be able to communicate, trust one another, and be honest with each other. I've been dealing with a liar for the past 10 years of my life, and as your partner i feel that honesty is a must. I don't care how ugly or uncomfortable things may get, you have to promise me that you would tell me, just be honest with me."

(Shawn) "I have no problem with that, just as long as you do so in return. And as for the outsider's , we dont need everyone knowing our business because once you start then people are going to feel like they're apart of this relationship and think they have so much say in what goes on."

(Bey) "I totally agree with you."

(Shawn) "I feel much better now" he says going to pour him up another drink "You want one?"

(Bey) "Thats good, I'm glad you are and yea, but can you add some ice."

(Shawn) "Yea, i got you."

Im glad Shawn and I can sit and discuss things, let this would have been Tony and he would of found a way to turn it into an argument. Every time i open up to Shawn i feel so much more closer to him. He was just.......words can't even explain. I love how he can sense out things about me, just as i can with him. It's crazy though. Tony's old bipolar ass, you could never tell with him. The more my relationship grows with Shawn, the less i start to have feelings for Tony. But enough about him. Shawn and I sat and  drank for the rest of the flight. He and i also talked some more, just about random things and what ever came to mind. He and I were so opposite yet we had so much in common. After about a 4 1/2 hr flight we finally reached out destination. The drive from the airport to the hotel wasn't long, it only about 20 mins. When we got situated into our room, Shawn told me to shower and get dress and that he had a surprise for me. I didn't question him, i just did as told and got ready. After i was finishing showering, i got out and began getting dressed. I didn't even realize Shawn had left.  I found a note on the dresser, saying to meet him out in the front of the hotel. I hurried up and got dress. I slipped into a nice body fitting pink dress, that brought out my figure. I through my hair back into a wet bun. And topped it off with a nice pair of heels and accessories. After that I grabbed my clutch and walked out the door. I got downstairs to the lobby and saw Jay standing out in the front with a car service. I started getting excited because i had no idea what he had planned. I walked up to the car and got in slowly as Jay held the door open, long enough for him to get a glimpse of my ass. I looked back at him and caught him smirking and licking his lips, i just rolled my eyes and turned back around to get in the car.

(Bey) "So where are we going?" i asked all shyly, i just couldn't stop cheesing.

(Shawn) "Hmp. It's a surprise" he said in a real modest tone.

(Bey) cracks a smile and lets out a  chuckle.

(Shawn) "I see someone is a little silly tonight huh?"

(Bey) giggling "Huh." I asked all dumfounded.

I don't know what it is, but every time I'm with Shawn he gives me tingles in all different places. He makes me feel high off life with i'm with him. It just feels so right. I couldn't tell if it was Shawn's spontaneousness or all that cognac i had, because i just stop laughing.

(Shawn) "You look nice" he said as he moved a little closer to me.

(Bey) "Thank you and you don't look too bad yourself." i said all flirtatiously, brushing off one of his shoulders.

Just as i was placing my hand down, Shawn snatched it and pulled me by my arm, moving me closer to him.

(Shawn) "What you mean i dont look too bad" he said playfully pinching my side "I think i look pretty damn good."

(Bey) "Okay, you look alright." i said mocking him.

(Shawn) "Yea okay." he said chuckling.

The chemistry was there between me and Shawn. The way we were acting with each was ridiculous. We rode around for about 25 mins until we reached our destination. I began to look around and notice water, trees, and just beaches was just surrounding us, then i begin to see a bunch of yachts and boats. We pulled into their pier area and parked by the entrance. The driver than came around to open the door and we got out. Shawn held on to my hand, as he helped me out the car. I got out and followed behind him. The paparazzi was posted, but we had Julius. When we got near the end, Shawn started walking up to one of the yachts. I was becoming more and more excited.

We got on to the boat and made our way to the deck, and it was a table set up for 2 with candles all around.

(Shawn) "Alright Ju man, i got it from here." he said as they slapped fives.

(Julius) "Alright I'm a go ahead inside." he said walking away.

I just stood by the table until Shawn came over, pulling out my chair so i could sit down.

(Bey) "Thank you" i said as he pushed me towards the table.

(Shawn) "Your welcome" he said as he walked to sit down.

I just sat there smiling, admiring Shawn and this moment..

(Shawn) "So whats on your mind?" he asked

(Bey) "Nothing.....im just...."

(Shawn) "Your just what..." he said taking a sip of wine.

(Bey) "I don't know, you just got me feeling some type of way." i said smiling out from ear to ear.

(Bey's thoughts)

Shawn is just so thoughtful, he's always doing things out of the ordinary. And he so's secretive with it too. I love that he alway thinking about me and keeping me on my toes. It just makes me like him so much more.

(Shawn) "Im hope that feeling is good." he said jokingly.

(Bey) "Yea" i said letting out a chuckle.

Just then the boat started moving and we were drifting off into the water. I was eager to know where we were going.

(Shawn) "With all thats been going on, i feel you deserve a good night out. So whats better than a candle lit dinner, under the stars, off the the coast."

(Bey) "You are so thoughtful, i really appreciate."

(Shawn) "I just like seeing you smile, thats all."

My cheese became super red, i was blushing so hard. I had this big koolaid smile on my face.

(Bey) "So what are we having?" i said switching the subject.

(Shawn) "Well we have chicken teriyaki w/ shrimp fried rice and "and stuffed spinach wraps.

(Bey) "Ooohs sounds delicious" i said taking a sip of my drink. "And for desert?"

(Shawn) gives me a look "Hmp, oh you shall see." he said all seductive.

(Bey) smiles

Shawn and I ate and finished our dinner. After we were finished we spent some time cuddling up on the sofa out on the deck. It was a blanket out there to keep us warm from the breeze of the night. Everything was going great. I love being with Shawn. He made feel so good.

(Shawn) "Are you enjoying your night?"

(Bey) "Yes......very much."

(Shawn) "Thats good" he said stroking my hair "So are you ready for desert?"

(Bey) "And what exactly do you have for desert" i asked all curious.

(Shawn) "Well" he said getting up and going to grab a tray. "I have grilled pineapple with vanilla ice cream dripped in rum sauce."

(Bey) "Mmm, my mouth is just watering from the sound of it."

(Shawn) walking back over to Bey with the dish "But its only one dish, so we have to share it."

(Bey) "Why only one?"

(Shawn) "Well honestly, i didn't think we'll make it to desert." he said sarcastically but also very serious.

(Bey) laughing "Ha, well evidently you thought wrong." i joked.

(Shawn) "Oh its like that" he asked playfully, he then takes a slice out of  the pineapple dish "here, try his." he said feeding me.

(Bey) "Yum." i said licking my lips of the ice cream. It was so good.

(Shawn) "Good right?" he said eating some for himself.

(Bey) "Uhm-hm."

(Shawn)  "I knew you would like it."

Shawn and I sat their and finished off our desert. He was so charming and sweet. I couldnt help but laugh when i saw he had a smudge of ice cream smeared on his face, with his little chubby cheeks.

(Shawn) "Whats so funny?" he asked looking at me.

(Bey) "You have a little smudge right here" i said taking my thumb and wiping it away.

(Shawn) "Oh so you think stuff is funny." he said and began tickling me.

As Shawn tickled me, i fell into his lap from moving around. I laid there staring up at him as he sat there staring down at me. Then he leaned in to kiss me. It was pretty clear where things were headed. After a great dinner and some bomb ass sex, Shawn and I spent the rest of the night on the boat. It was a great way to start off the vacation and an even better way to end to the night. I was looking forward to the rest of the trip.
